RELATED:Tales Of Symphonia Remastered: Complete Guide To Status Effects

The primary goal of using Titles is to focus on specific Skills for your party members, allowing you to enhance their Tech and overall performance in battle. However, some Titles have no impact on your Stats at all but instead change the character’s Outfit, enabling you to customize their appearance if you are okay with sacrificing the benefits they typically offer.

Titles Overview

Before we dive into every character’sTitlesand how to obtain them, let’s briefly cover theirgeneral purposeand why they’re so crucial to Tales of Symphonia. Titles areone of many ways to increase specific Statsfor your party members, allowing you tohone in on particular Statsthat willbenefit that character in combatencounters. Furthermore,Titles do more than just increase the value of your Stats. They alsogrant additional bonuses toward those Statswhen you level up,allowing them togrow faster than average.

However, you may also run into situations wheresome Titles will have a negative impact on some Stats, making thegrowth of those particular Stats much slowerthan usual. The effect a Title has on your Stats iscolor-codedand easily discernable, but we will give you the rundown of what they are and what they mean below!

Additionally, yourStats will only grow and level up alongside the character’s level,so you will have todefeat enemies and rank upto put these Titles' benefits to use. Keep this in mind, aswhen you reach the higher levels, it will become increasingly harder to rank up,so you shouldfocus on the Stats you want to level up firstfor specific characters for specific builds.

One last thing of note is thatthere are Titles that will change the Outfitof the character. However, these Titles have no positive or negative effects on Stats,so theyshould only be used if you are comfortable with your current buildand Stat levels. While some of the Outfits are great, you do not want to throw away free Stat growth in exchange for fancier threads. Unless, of course, you do. Then, in that case, we say, ‘knock your socks off!’
