Pokemon Gohosts several Limited Research Days each year, featuring specific Pokemon and bonuses for a set amount of time. The next Limited Research Day will be featuring Stunfisk,including both its standard form and its Galarian Form.

As with others in the past, the Stunfisk Limited Research Day will only be available for a short window of time, taking place on Sunday, April 23, from 2pm local time to 5pm local time.This event will mark the Pokemon Go debut of Stunfisk’s Shiny variation, providing you with great odds of encountering and catching it!

As the event’s name implies, the Stunfisk Limited Research Daywill be featuring not just Stunfisk, but alsoGalarian Stunfisk.With this in mind, this isn’t an event you’ll want to miss out on, with both of these Pokemon being popular choices in the Go Battle League.

Throughout the course of this event, you will have access to eventLimited Field Research Tasks,obtained by visiting and spinning different PokeStops. Collecting and completing this Limited Field Research Tasks will reward you with anencounter with either Stunfisk or Galarian Stunfisk.

Additionally, both Stunfisk and Galarian Stunfisk will havehigher chances of being Shinywhen encountered throughout this event. Make sure to acquire and complete as many Limited Field Research Tasks as possible, giving you great odds of encountering and catching these two Shiny variations.

As mentioned previously, this will be thefirst time Stunfisk’s Shiny variation will be availablein Pokemon Go.

Event Wild Encounters

Although this Limited Research Day is centered around Stunfisk and Galarian Stunfisk,you will have the opportunity to encounter and catch a handful ofother Pokemon in the wild.
