Marvel Snapis filled with variant themes, ranging from simple new art to baby versions of your favorite cards. Among all the variants available, you can get your hands on several Steampunk variants. If you are wondering what all of these Steampunk variants look like, you’ve come to the right place!

Here, we are going to rank every Steampunk variant available in Marvel Snap. If you are playing shortly after the start of the Days of Future Past Season, then you can look forward to the Steampunk Variant Rush taking place at the end of March. During themed variant rushes, you will have a higher chance of obtaining variants through Collector’s Reserves.
16Quinjet
First up, we have the Quinjet. This Steampunk-ified version of the Quinjet gives it a rougher appearance, but it doesn’t quite stack up to the other cards on our list.
While it’s noticeably different from the normal version of the card, it doesn’t scream Steampunk. Still, the variant is quite interesting, and we would love to imagine the Avengers cruising around in this contraption.

15Ant-Man
Coming in second-to-last place, we have Ant-Man. Similar to the Quinjet, this Ant-Man variant doesn’t have the most Steampunk vibe to it. While there are bits of the card that are unique, such as engine-like vents seemingly coming from the ant, the variant looks like a normal, shrunken-down Ant-Man.
If you didn’t know that this was a Steampunk variant, you may not come to that conclusion on your own.

14Bishop
In nearly every Bishop variant, he is holding his trademark gun. In this Steampunk version though, he’s traded in the familiar gun for something a little more rustic. Overall, Bishop looks pretty epic, with energy seemingly gathering in his hand.
Bishop appears lower on this list due the lack of unique-ness. At first glance, this is just an older version of Bishop from the base card.

13Viper
Viper can be a pretty powerful card, especially when paired with ones like Hobgoblin and The Hood. Now, you can experience this card-swapping ability through a Steampunk lens.
Interestingly, Viper’s Steampunk card looks pretty much identical to her normal version. The outfit is similar, and her pose is nearly identical, with one leg slightly extended more than the base card. We love this version of Viper, but we wish she was a bit more unique when compared to her normal counterpart.

12Yellowjacket
Yellowjacket is a bit of an underdog. You may not be quick to put this card in your deck, but it can hold up quite well. In this Steampunk variant, we see a more aggressive Yellowjacket. Here, he is seemingly preparing to attack whatever is just outside the frame.
Overall, his outfit is pretty similar to the original, but there is no denying that the pattern etched onto him really puts this card in the Steampunk realm. We appreciate all the wires around his body as well, giving him a mechanical feel.

11Wasp
The Wasp is another card like Yellowjacket; you may not think of the card at first, but it can come in handy when you are in a pinch. In this variant, the Wasp dons a helmet and improved outfit when compared to the base card.

Sure, she looks more like a Gladiator, but we placed the Wasp slightly higher on the list due to the improvement from the normal variation. Gone is the skin-tight with no facial protection.
10Hulk Buster
As a mech, Hulk Buster is already pretty suited for a Steampunk makeover; little has to be done to make this card fit the genre.
If you aren’t too familiar with the details of Hulk Buster’s original card, then this may seem like a different position. Still, it’s hard to deny that the card doesn’t look cool, we just wish there was more to work with.

9Shocker
Next up, we have Shocker. Here, we can see greebles attached to Shocker’s arms, and we all love a good greeble. Rather than a Steampunk version of Shocker, this seems to be like the normal Shocker that we know, adopting signature looks from the genre.
This variation makes Shocker look, well, shockingly similar to Iron Man as well. Like Yellowjacket, you may see intricate patterns etched into the outfit.

8Forge
If you have ever thought, “What would Forge look like if he was in Mad Max”, then this is the answer. In this Steampunk variant of Forge, we see him reclined in a plush, purple chair. Instead of relaxing though, he is firing a dangerous-looking machine gun.
Rather than looking like a Steampunk cosplay, he has adapted to the world and made himself comfortable.

7Armor
Armor can be quite the annoying card, especially if you are playing with a destroy deck. Somehow, all Armor variants are quite cute. In this version of Armor, Hisako herself hasn’t changed much; instead, her armor has taken on a mech-like appearance.
This card is great, but we wish that the background scenery matched up to the actual design of Armor. For the background, we were just given an empty, bluish street with no life.
