One of the spiffy things inCassette Beastsis its Mailbox Code system. Simply input a code into a mailbox in Harbourtown, and a rare and rad new monster may be yours for the recording. It’s a great way to keep players engaged without overstressing limited-time events, if you ask us, and it’s well worth documenting on a routine basis.

Which is precisely what we’ve done, of course. Below, you’ll find a rotating list of known Mailbox Codes. We’ll maintain reference to older codes, so feel free to give them a shot just in case - perhaps something’s back in circulation and we didn’t even know it! - but for the most part, you should only expect the ones marked current to work as intended.

Current Cassette Beasts Mailbox Codes

Presently, there are no known working mailbox codes for Cassette Beasts. So, why have we updated this guide so recently? Well, some players have claimed to have success with the expired codes despite their alleged expiration. Conversely, many have said these no longer work, but we want you to be aware that they may be worth a try if you’re just heading into New Wirral and its fantastical world.

VALENTINES

Dandylion

This pupper was available for a very limited time as a GlitterBootleg. While the odds are slim you’ll bump into one like that in the wild, remember that they’re never zero, so you’re not truly locked out!

LAUNCHDAY

Traffikrab

While an ordinary Traffikrab would hardly be considered handy - low-leveled Traffikrabs are located just outside of town - this one’s a MetalBootleg, Cassette Beasts' spin on Pokemon’s ‘Shiny’ types. Hence, he’s a rare fellow.

SUMMERTIME

Puppercut

Coinciding with Update 1.2, this code gave players a pretty Puppercut of a different type and color from the norm.
