In the second installment of the franchise, some familiar faces show up to play as well as some new faces. Each with new stories and hardships to bring to you, the Barista, in hopes to find closeness and comfort during a dark and stormy night.
13Myrtle
Myrtle and Aqua visit your old coffee shop once again, but this time with trouble. Aqua has a big opportunity ahead of her, and she wants nothing more than Myrtle’s undying support no matter what she chooses to do, but Myrtle is a brooding woman and sometimes that can get the better of her.
Myrtle and Aqua are in a disagreement when they show up, and it can be frustrating to listen to. As the Barista, we want nothing but the best for these two. Myrtle can’t give Aqua the reassurance she wants while deep down, Aqua knows what decision she should make but just wants to hear that it doesn’t matter by Myrtle.

12Aqua
Aqua is always a favorite because she is a shy, reserved girl trying to chase her dreams. Cozy gamers who play Coffee Talk may relate more to Aqua, a quiet character with a passion for video games.
Aqua and Myrtle rejoin the cast for Coffee Talk Episode 2 with some drama of their own, and you have the power to change the tides of their argument or keep them fighting.

We find out that Aqua got into contact with one of her favorite video game developers and has an interesting proposal from them. It’s great to hear that our shy mermaid is taking charge of her career and has something to show for it.
11Baileys
It can be quite the earache listening to Baileys and Lua bicker over their wedding plans. They will do anything other than express their feelings wholeheartedly and stop assuming.
Baileys wants Lua to have the fanciest wedding that she deserves and will do anything to make it a pretty wedding, but Lua is the one worrying about prices and people and trivial things.

As you watch their argument unfold over the few weeks, you start to wish that Baileys would take a step back and realize that the wedding doesn’t need to be extravagant. They are a cute couple, but it is sad to see that they are fighting once again.
10Lua
Lua is a strong independent woman who worked hard for what she has and shouldn’t have to stress this much about wedding engagements. From the first game to now, we see Lua struggle with the stresses and pressures of society.
First from dealing with the stereotypes put on her species, and now to the stereotypical wedding adventure she thinks she should be having.

This is one of the more relatable stories as we can all understand what it is like to feel like we need to follow the same path everyone before us has. What it is really about is what makes us happy and what fits our life and the people in it more than strangers on the internet.
9Rachel
Our famous pop star singer Rachel joins us once again, and she has a new look, with her short hair. While Gala brings calmness to the store, Rachel brings happiness, and she is always ready to spread love and positivity and is grateful for her place in life.
Rachel still lives with her father, Hendry, who even makes a small appearance in the game. There is nothing to hate about Rachel and her family as they are loving people and heck, they are cats for crying out loud.

A great part about Rachel joining the game once again is that you may actually unlock some of her songs in the soundtrack playlist if you play your cards right.
8Hyde
Hyde will always be a loveable character because he fits that dark and mysterious trope while taking a liking to the Barista. When someone is usually standoffish and rude, but chooses you as one of their close friends, you can’t help but love them all the same.
In Coffee Talk Episode 2, we get to hear about what his job antics are these days and see a bit of his relationship with Gala some more. They continue to be roommates and as close friends as ever.

The duo is iconic and forever will be, being a vampire and a werewolf under the same roof.
7Lucas
There is nothing not to love about one of the new characters in Coffee Talk, Lucas. Well, maybe there is.
Lucas is a social media influencer who can be quite energetic and nosey in your cafe. People like this can startle you at the beginning, but you can’t help but love them, and you are kind of forced to warm up to them.

Lucas is abrasive at first, but it is clear that he is just a young man who wants to do right by people and make something meaningful out of his work. Social media can send people into a spiral of numbers and likeability, but we see Lucas try to break through and be someone different.
6Riona
Step aside, Hyde, we have a new dark and mysterious character to adore. Riona is another new face in the Coffee Talk franchise, and it might not be obvious at first, but Riona is actually a banshee, a new species added to the roster that can be confusing, and scary.
Similarly to Aqua, Riona has a passion for creating art but struggles to make her big break. In a world where technology and social media are only becoming harmful, Riona, and perhaps the people playing the game, have the sentiment to stay far away from social media.

It is a treat to see how Riona will come to terms with toxic social media and give her talent for singing a true start.
5Mysterious Cat
What is not to love about a cat? No, this is not Rachel and no, it is not a Nekomimi at all.
A white cat shows up at your shop from time to time seemingly looking for something. Depending on how you play the game, you may have what it takes to find out what this cat is up to or who it belongs to.

Despite the mysteries of the cat, it is nothing but a treat to have a cat show up every so often.Different characters will react to the cat, and it may even come to your aid when you least expect it.
4Gala
The big softie, Gala. While everyone has their drama to bring to the table on a rainy night, seeing Gala show up some days is a breath of fresh air.
He offers a calm atmosphere, never has any big problems to unload unto you, and never seems to be bothered by anyone or anything. Perhaps because he has seen too much.
Gala is there for the Barista, and perhaps anyone else in his vicinity, to have a grounding moment. He still works at the hospital and his only real concern is that kids are afraid of him because he is so big.
