When it comes to leading a company, even Death himself is not infallible. He made a terrible mistake when he delegated his fieldwork to The Sorrows, his top company executives who quickly got arrogant and started taking more lives than they should.

That’s when he decides to go on a rampage and purge his executives from their hard-earned roles. The bad news is he’s out of practice, and things are much worse than he thought. 10Handman
The various Thanagers are considered mini-bosses in this game, and Will Hung is the first one you meet on your way to Area 1 Security.
Although he’s not too hard to fight, he does an excellent job of showing you what to expect in terms of dashing around to evade hits and cover more ground.
9Brad
Brad, the Head of Area 1 Security, is the first real boss you fight inHave A Nice Death. As Guardian Gargoyle, Brad easily tanks hits, forcing you to grind a little before you get him down. His suited-up version is much more challenging than his casual, social-media-scrolling version, adding an extra laser eye scan attack that needs a bit of trial and error to get around.
Fighting Brad teaches you when to hit, when to run, and when to fly, and is great training as you learn to watch his pauses and anticipate his next movement. He is, however, very easy to predict because his fighting style consists of repeating learned moves designed to close in on you.
8Mr. Hector Krank
Mr. Hector Krank is the Head of Area 3 Disease, and he’s been charged with the unauthorized use of company equipment. He is slow but hard-hitting and, like Brad, is not too difficult to beat once you learn his moves, which he helpfully telegraphs in every pause.
Word of advice: Mr. Krank can get really crabby! Stock up on Anima and buff up before you face Disease, or you’re cursed to repeat the fight until you can hit hard enough.
7Mr. Gordon Grimes
Mr. Gordon Grimes, Head of Area 2 Pollution, is your first encounter with muscle blended with technique. He is hard to terminate, harder to evade, but luckily not too hard to expect. Compared to Brad, who similarly requires a bit of grinding to get past, Mr. Grimes packs a versatile roster of moves, including turning to waste to teleport to the other side of the screen, dealing a giant fist punch, grabbing at you from the ground with a set of arms, and using weapons.

To beat him, you need to be quick on your feet, attentive to detail, and well-practiced in dashing, jumping, and flying.
6Nuke
Nuke, a flying barrel of toxic waste, is not too hard to beat compared to Mr. Gordon Grimes. It does, however, take a bit of skill, and some prerequisites, since most of the fight takes place up in the air.
If you don’t have a weapon armed that enables you to fly, a weapon that lets you deal hits upwards should do. Nuke is technically unbeatable without them until it decides to get down on your level.
5Bee Queen
Bee Queen packs a lot of wrath, and it is hard to predict where her broad slashing moves will land. If you’re not too careful, you will sustain a lot of damage before you get the opportunity even to land your first hit.
To beat her, you need a faster dash cooldown, which the right curse from Mr. O’Shah can get you. You can also fly above where the slashing move will land, but it is difficult to mark the exact timing when you need to jump and dash out of the way, as it’s one more move than you usually need to worry about.
4Major Warren Pliskhan
Major Warren Pliskhan, Head of Modern Warfare, is the final boss you will meet as you progress through the game. His love language is weapons of mass destruction, and he hates how hard it is to get what you want.

He is quite entertaining to fight but not too hard for a final boss. To beat him, apply the raging bull strategy: dash, jump, or fly out of the way, then deal damage when the opportunity presents itself.
3Candy
I hope you packed lunch because you’re going to be here for a while. Candy is hell on wheels! She is extremely fast, impossible to predict, and can take a lot of damage and keep throwing punches…well, technically, giant hammers. Her moves are as versatile as they are many, taking place on-ground and up in the air, making her really fun to take on in a hack-and-slash battle.
Beating her requires skill, improvisation, and a lot of Anima to fall back on when you stumble and take one square in the face, which is guaranteed to happen more than a few times.
2Maxxx
Maxxx is everything Candy would be if she had an anger management problem. He is just as unpredictable and versatile, adding a few projectiles and flying to the - already pretty challenging - mix. He’s Head of Area 4 Addiction and packs arage mode.
There really isn’t a guideline for how to beat him, except going through the game in the proper order. By the time you make it to Maxxx, you will hopefully have enough tricks up your sleeve to dodge a winning percentage of his blows.
1Life
Spoiler Alert! Once Death is done fighting Sorrows, he must go up against his biggest arch-nemesis, Life! She has been causing a lot of temporal distortion and doesn’t want Death to go on vacation… birth rates are simply too high!
You must acquire three medallions hidden away in Quantum Rift Lockers across the game to unlock this boss battle. Once you do, prepare for the fight of your Life, or rather, for Death Incorporated, whose shares she wants a little too severely. Projectiles, flying, weapons, you name it. Life will throw everything at you, but winning is possible.
