With a wonderful yet silly cast of characters to add to its roster, this video game introduces you to individuals that slowly carve a place for themselves in your heart. Despite how tedious their quests are, you’ll feel better having them along for the trip once you’re back from running errands.
9Andrea Salazar
From what seems to be a character that completely mimics the energy of the family from the movie Parasite, Andrea is a hard-to-work-with housekeeper who eventually moves in her entire family into Emma Jaunt’s house.
She spends all of her time stuck inside the mansion and barely has the patience to deal with or listen to other people’s chatter. She’s rude and annoying at first, but you’ll come to respect her tenacity eventually. She makes a mean pastrami sandwich too.
8Emma Jaunt
Outspoken and brash at first but sweet-natured yet selfish as the game progresses, Emma is a complicated character who loves flaunting her self-worth just as much as helping other people. She’s someone who harbors her own complicated secrets and often wears her heart on her sleeve.
As if somehow surviving an airplane crash wasn’t jarring enough for you, getting greeted by someone getting pampered and demanding a pair of shoes right after surely beats that experience. It’s unbelievable to assume she’d be the one to survive everything and even make it back home safely. She’s lucky she always has people to protect her nearby.
7Michael Anders
Wimpy and starstruck, Michael doesn’t have much going for him the first time you see him. He’s just looking after Emma Jaunt for the most part since he’s her PA, and his personality certainly doesn’t do him any favors when you come across him at the mansion.

The moment you truly see Michael shine is when he decides to risk it all to retrieve his favorite star, Romero. Although it was rather infuriating to make your way to the Monarch Studios and fight off an exceptionally strong horde of Walkers to retrieve him, you probably felt pretty bad pulling the trigger on his turned self. That’s half an hour of work down the drain right there.
6Sam B
Cocky and abrasive but sometimes funny and charming as well. Sam B has experience on his side as he navigates through the hellscape he’s stuck in. You first come across this individual assuming he’s some kind of zombie who infiltrated the mansion despite your attempts at fortifying it, only to be greeted by a gun to your face.
As smart as it is to carry around firearms, Sam B makes sure you understand just how viable a weapon is. He’s one of the only few survivors who are immune to any Walker bites. His disdain for authority speaks for itself. Who do you Voodoo? Amirite?
5Kai
He cleans, he cooks, and he even gets sassy when faced with horrifying stimuli, Kai is the perfect doomsday buddy to take along with you duringa zombie apocalypse. How he puts up with the rest of his survivor pals is a mystery but his ability to stay calm under such dire circumstances is commendable.
He’s got a decent arsenal for you to make use of, plus an array of blueprints that come in handy in case you’re in a skirmish and need to craft something for any hefty upcoming battle.
4Dr. Reuben Reed
A doting father with a turned yet presumably dead wife, this problematic doctor promised you some respite, but eventually, his true colors came out. He’s capable of hiding major secrets from you and his own daughter.
From his initial introduction, the man seemed like a nice guy who jokes all the time until his motives become clear, and you’ll find out just how despicable some people can be. There isn’t much to redeem him like most other characters, but his role in the story is vital for its progression. He’s the man who uncovers it all, the Reubenator is a force to be reckoned with.
3Lola Konradt
A mysterious woman you meet in the sewers with her posse turns out to be deeply involved with a certain researcher and his pursuit to take humans to the next level. The founder of Konradt Realities, producers of OSK tech, and Konstant OS was hell–bent on uncovering numens with her old research buddy.

She’s crude, intimidating, and downright ominous. Somehow you’ll find her pop up out of nowhere seemingly pretending to want to help you out while she keeps you under constant observation. She’s as nuanced as a character as she is bizarre.
2Tisha Reed
Suspicious of her dad and smarter than she looks, this member of the Mushroom Club has a hard time trusting you at first but plays a crucial role in uncovering the mysteries behind everything that’s been happening to you throughout the story.
She’s got a rebellious streak to her but her drive for justice and sense of duty always win out in the end. Tisha isa strong characterwho’s willing to take risks regardless of the circumstances but makes it rather hard for anyone to rely on her when things get heavy.
1Patton
A veteran and movie buff with a home in the sewers needs nothing but some good company to watch his movies with. Patton looks like he’s been through a lot, but he’s made the best of his situation. He’s an endearing hero who deserves more recognition.
Despite living theTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtleslife, Patton has his own set of expertise when it comes to dealing with certain Walkers. He can handle himself and make it through the most sticky situations because of his military training. He’s a lot smarter than he looks and has a couple of tricks up his sleeve.
