Fortnitealways delights players with events throughout seasons to keep things fresh and give us more and more content to enjoy. One of those events is the always-awaited Spring Breakout, which it’s usually the time when Fortnite un-vaults all the Easter-related stuff for us to enjoy.

But as Fortnite loves to experiment with its game to always keep it up in the list of the most played games, this Spring Breakout is full of surprises, new mechanics, and a load of new perks and items that will make your Spring Breakout experience the coolest one ever.
NPCs Specialisms
Back in the day, the hired Characters or NPCs were more or less helpfulas they shot against the opponent, and that was pretty much it.People weren’t much interested on hire them as they were more of a burden than a blessing.
But now, all the hirable Characters in the gamehave new roles that can help you in certain situations, giving them much more utilitiesrather than shooting toward your opponent.
Sniper
The Sniper Characters will belong-distance warriors that will help you from far awaywith their great aim and Heavy Sniper Rifles.
Heavy
The Heavy Charactersrun and protect you with their shotguns, ready to engage in any kind of close combat.
Supply
The Supply Characterswill drop ammo, grenades, and fireflies for you to pick up. These guys are ideal if you don’t like to loot.
Medical
Lastly, the Medical Characterswill constantly toss some chug cans to you only to heal you up. They are also armed with pistols, so they are useful in battle as well.
Spring Chickens and Easter Eggs
During the Spring Breakout,the map will be flooded with colorful Easter Eggs. There are three kinds of Eggs, and each onehas an effect depending on its color.
Green Eggs
These eggs willheal and shield you. Nothing more or less than that.
Blue Eggs
These eggs heal and shield you, butalso give you a high jump effectfor a while.
Golden Eggs
You can’t eat these eggs, as they are made of gold. Nonetheless,if you hatch them,you’ll receive a lot of Golden Bars.
These Easter Eggs canappear on the map or can be laid by the new Spring Chickens. These Chickens will replace the usual white (and aggressive) Chickens during the Spring Breakout, and they are special becausethey are in charge of laying these special eggs.
There are two kinds of Chickens:
Green Chickens
They lay Green Eggs. You can hold or chase them, butthey won’t do anything else.
Blue Chickens
These are in charge of laying the Blue Eggs. If you hold one of them, they’ll give youthe same effect you receive if you eat a Blue Egg.
These Chickens aren’t as aggressive as the white ones, and they will start running away as soon as you get near them.They arefast and hard to catch, so, if you see one of them and want an egg,it’s better if you wait for them to lay their eggs.
Unvaulted Weapons and Items
Fortnite keeps rotating the weapons and items they add per season,which gives the game a breath of fresh air. Thanks to the Spring Breakout,we get the Egg Launcher unvaulted, but that’s not the only thing that will see the light once again.
Egg Launcher
The Egg Launcher uses Rockets as its ammo, and as its name says,it launches eggs. However, the thing with these eggs is thatthey explode, dealing 74 damage per explosion, and dealing some extra damage to buildings and structures.
The only problem with these eggs is thatthey take a while before exploding, so it’s easy to avoid them. Hence why this weapon is very effective in close combat,where you know your opponent doesn’t have many chances to run away.
Charge Shotgun
The Charge Shotgun works like a usual shotgun,dealing 95 damage per shell if all the pellets land on the enemy, but it’s a very slow shotgun that has to be pumped and has avery slow reload time.Nonetheless, you’re able to also charge the shotgun to deal extra damage.
You charge it by holding the shot button, and the shotgun will charge for a second. After this time,it’ll release a very powerful shot that will deal 200 damage per shell if all the pellets landon the enemy.
It’s very risky to charge the shotgun mid-battle, but the reward is incredible. You can mix this shotgun with the Blue Egg to get some high ground and avoid being shot while charging the shotgun.
Flint-Knock Pistol
This is a special pistol thatuses Heavy Bullets and deals 90 damage per bullet,and its only setback is thatit has a very slow reload timeand will knock you back. The great thing is that it’ll also knock the enemy back if it lands on it.
It’s not an effective Pistol in mid or long-distance battles, yetit’s great to use in close combatas it can help you get some distance from the enemy.
Pizza Party
The Pizza Party it’s a healing item thatpops out of the vault whenever Fortnite has an important date, like its birthday, or an event like the Spring Breakout.
This tool is a deployable item that, as you place it,will reveal eight pizza slices that can heal you.It doesn’t heal as much as a Medical Kit, just as much as any other food, but it’s good to carry onewhen you are playing with your team and want to heal all of your teammates.
New and Unvaulted Augments
The Augments are real game-changers in Fortnite, asyou can win if you have enough luck to receive the Augments you needto advance in a match. Thankfully, Fortnite keeps rotating these Augments, sothere are always new perks to discover here and there.
So, with this Spring Breakout,Fortnite decided to create some new Augments for us to enjoy.Here’s a list of the new Augments and their effects in combat:
Go for Broke
This Augment will give you aFlint-Knock Pistol and a Charge Shotgun.
You’ll gethealed whenever you swim.
Rail Warrior
You’ll get healed, and your shields will get restoredwhenever you step on a rail or use a zipline.
Game Time
With this Augment, you’ll receive aPizza Party.
Aside from these new Augments,two Augments we have seen in Chapter 4 Season 1got unvaulted:
If you activate this Augment, you’ll receivea random Heisted Weapon.
Icy Slide
After sliding,you’ll get your feet frozen, which will increase your speed but will mess up your mobility. It’s ideal for running away from battles.
