When Can You Visit The Darkmoon Faire?
The Darkmoon Faire comes to town on thefirst Sunday of every month, lastinguntil the next Saturday. You’ll have a week’s worth of content to jump into and plenty ofrewardsandgoodiesto collect.
How To Get To The Darkmoon Faire
To get to the Darkmoon Faire, you can find theDarkmoon Faire Mystic Magesin all of the main Alliance and Horde cities. Talk to them and they will offer toteleportyou to theDarkmoon Faire staging areafor a small price. These prices differ depending on your level, scaling up to a maximum of50 silver.They also offer a one time quest.Hand this in toGelvas Grimegate, a male goblin vendor, close to the firework stand. You’ll receive theDarkmoon Adventurer’s Guideandfive Darkmoon Prize Tickets.
Justoutside the Auction Housein theTrade DistrictandDwarven District.

On the western side of theTemple Gardens, close to theportaland flight master.
In theWalk of Edlersnear the main entrancegates.
Thunder Bluff
Just slightly southwest of the Thunder Bluffflight masterat the bottom of thelarge totem tower.

Alternatively, you can look on your map to find theDarkmoon Faire Icons. There are only two, and they can be found inElwynn Forest (for the Alliance)andMulgore (for the Horde).
Getting Your Darkmoon Game Tokens
When you arrive on Darkmoon Island,follow the arrowsdown the hill to the fairground. At the entrance, you’ll find a female goblin namedZina Sharpworth. She sells theDarkmoon Game Tokens. You’ll need these if you want to play the mini-games and completedaily questsforDarkmoon Prize Tickets. This vendor sells aPouch o’ Tokenswhich containsfive game tokensfor 85 silver, and aSack o’ Tokensfor two gold and 72 silver which contains20 game tokens. If you run out of game tokens, simply head back to her to purchase more.
Benefits Of The Darkmoon Adventurer’s Guide
Just as you enter the Darkmoon Faire, you can findSelina Dourman, an undead female, to yourleft. She can tell you about the Darkmoon Faire, such as what you can purchase, where certain mini-games are, and more. If you’re struggling to find a particular mini-game, she willmark it on your mapfor you. She can also offer you theDarkmoon Adventurer’s Guide. This item,when kept in your bag, allows you toloot items that begin quests. You can loot these items in dungeons, raids, and battlegrounds.
If you are levelling a new character via dungeon runs or battlegrounds, check if the Darkmoon Faire is on and grab theDarkmoon Adventurer’s Guide. You’ll be able to loot plenty of items, as will people in your group. If you don’t intend to use these items, you cansell them on the Auction House.
You will get200 experienceand250 Darkmoon Fairereputationfor completing the quests. Here are the items you can loot and the ticket rewards for completing the quests:

Darkmoon Faire Rides And Benefits
The Darkmoon Faire has typical rides you’d find at a carnival, such as theDarkmoon Faire Roller Coaster. Get your kicks with this fun ride and see the fairground from new heights.
If you aren’t a fan of roller coasters, there’s also theDarkmoon Carousel. Each ride costs aDarkmoon Ride Ticket. These can be bought byKae Ti, a Pandaren found at the carousel enterance, orMae Ti, another Pandaren found at the roller coaster platform. you’re able to buy theRide Ticket Bookfor 85 Silver, which will grant youfive Darkmoon Ride Tickets.
Each ride gives you the buffWHEE!whichincreases experience and reputation gains by 10 percent for an hour.
Repeatable Quests And Mini Games
There are a handful ofrepeatable queststo do at the Darkmoon Faire. Most of these aredaily, some others can only be doneonce per month. They’re the best way to collectDarkmoon Prize Tickets.Each of these quests will reward you with250Darkmoon Faire reputationand theDarkmoon Game Prize. This container will always give youone Darkmoon Prize Ticket, but you’ll also have a chance at receiving the following:

Profession Quests
Profession questsare another activity that involvesrepeatable quests. These quests can be doneonce a month per character. Each of these quests give you250 Darkmoon reputationand200 experience.These quests are also great to complete theFaire Favorsachievement. This requires you to completeat least five profession-based questsat the Darkmoon Faire, on a single character. You do not have to change professions to complete this achievement. As of the release ofDragonflight, you’ll be rewarded with15 Artisan’s Mettlefor completing most profession quests. You’ll also receiveDragonflight Crafting Knowledge.
Eyes on the Prizes

Theprofession skill pointswill be applied to yourmost recent expansion knowledge. If you have maxed out this level, your points will be added to thenext available expansion’s crafting level. If all your profession levels are full, you’ll receive all the rewards except the profession skill points.

There aretwopet tamers you can battle against at the Darkmoon Faire. They areJeremy FeaselandChristoph VonFeasel.
The pet tamer quests areaccount-wide, so they can only be completedonce per account each day.
DefeatingJeremy Feaselrewards you withDarkmoon Pet Supplies,this contains fiveDarkmoon Prize Tickets. You also may receive theDarkmoon Eyepet. Defeating Christoph VonFeasel rewards you withGreater Darkmoon Pet Supplies,this contains tenDarkmoon Prize Tickets. You also may receive theSyd the Squidpet.
Darkmoon Faire Fishing
If you’re a fan of fishing, you can receive plenty of rewards for that too at the Darkmoon Faire. Fish off the coast of Darkmoon Island, and you’ll be able to catchDarkmoon Daggermaw.These can be turned into the vendorGalissa Sundew. She is a female blood elf and can be found along theboardwalk. You may fish up aBloated Thresher, these can containmultiple Darkmoon Daggermaw.You can also discover fish head hats:Severed Crimsonscale HeadandSevered Azurefin Head.
Fish within spots ofShipwreck Debrisand you have the chance of fishing up the adorableSea Ponycompanion pet.
