After you defeat Monica inLittle Witch Nobeta, you’ll continue to the Dark Tunnel to get through it and find the throne. However, if you do so, you’ll eventually come across multiple crystals you must destroy simultaneously, but doing so involves some challenges.

Since you must destroy these crystals to get past the barriers, you must know how to get past them. Doing so requires you to understand the puzzle, but getting lost in the Dark Tunnel and struggling to find the crystals is easy. If you utilize a guide, you can go through the area and find the best way to get through it.

Finding The Goddess Statue

You’ll want to start at theDark Tunnel - Depth Goddess Statue, so if you may’t find it, you can follow these steps to help you reach the location. Begin at the Dark Tunnel - Entrance Statue, which you started at when Nobeta lost her hat.

Instructions

Go right of the goddess statue, through an entryway. Take thepath right of itand go down a staircase.

You’ll go to the left side of the staircase at the bottom andaim at the crystal. Doing so will fill it with light and get rid of the barrier. Enter through the entry blocked by the barrier.

Immediately turn right andgo down the staircaseyou find. Once you reach the bottom of multiple floors, head forward and take the staircase to your right. Go left and travel down the staircase before theblue flameon the pillar ahead.

You’ll run into multiple enemies in this area, so you should take them out before you continue. Otherwise, they’ll chase you down and potentially kill you, returning you to the statue. At the bottom,go through the archwaywith the blue fire on it.

Follow it, and go through another archway with a blue fire above it. You’ll drop to a level below. Go up the staircase ahead andenter another archway. You’ll find the statue to your left.

Getting The Thunder Spell

Once you reach theDark Tunnel - DepthGoddess Statue, you’ll need to find the Thunder Upgrade, so you’ll unlock the spell. Go down the stairs to the left of the Goddess Statue. You’ll travel down another staircase ahead and follow a path to the left at the bottom. You’ll need to dispatch a few enemies in this direction, but they won’t take long to defeat.

Travel down that hallway, take a left, and travel down the stairs. You’ll enter the room with the Thunder upgrade in it. At this point, you’ll want toequip your fire upgradeand charge it. You’ll face multiple mimics in this area, so don’t approach a chest without the spell ready.

You can only damage them withmelee attacksunless you wait for the mimic to open its mouth, so the fire spell will empower them to make the fight easier. You’ll want to land either three or four hits andimmediately dodgeout of the animation. Otherwise, you’ll be stuck in the attack animation, letting the mimic land a powerful attack on you.

As you take out mimics in the room, you’ll seetwo platforms to your right, so jump onto them. You’ll then need to turn around and reach the staircase by performing a double jump or utilizing staff attacks.

Go up the staircase, another staircase to the right, and another one. You’ll find a mimic chest to the right and an empty area to the left. You’lldouble jump to the ledgeand find the Thunder spell in a chest underneath a blue flame.

Don’t worry if you fall in this area. There’s no bottomless pit below, so you’re able to easily get back up and try the jump again.

Reaching The Crystals

After you get the Thunder Spell, you’ll need tobacktrackand reach the Crystals to get past the barrier and progress.

If you interacted with the Dark Tunnel - Depth goddess statue, you may pause the game and select theReturn to Goddess Statueoption. You’ll go back to it without losing your progress, saving you some time returning to the statue.

You’ll reach the statue and head away from it. You’ll travel to the left anddown another staircasein the area. You’ll know you reached the right point if you see amana crystal in the middle. Once you reach the area, you must defeat multiple enemies to get through it.

Some of them will have a green circle around them, meaning they’ve been empowered. They’ll heal if you don’t constantly damage them, but if you do enough damage, they’ll break and allow you to take them out quickly. You can try a few strategies to take them out.

Why You Should Use It

Charged Fire and Standard Melee Attacks

Even though it may not seem effective, a standard melee attack candeal enough damageto break through the green circle. If you don’t deal enough damage, charge up a fire and use melee attacks. This strategy especially works well against the maid puppet.

Charged and Standard Thunder

Astandard thunder blastcan deal enough damage to take out the enemies. They won’t restore fast enough. Based on yourintelligence level, the charged version can take them out in one blast or break the barrier.

Charged Fire

Charged fire works like the charged thunder, dealing tons of damage and potentiallybreaking through the barrier.

Defeat all the opponents near the area before you try to destroy the crystals. Otherwise, they’ll get in the way and even knock you out of your charged mode, causing you to restart the puzzle.

How The Puzzle Works

Once you look at the puzzle, you can utilize a couple of hints to determine how to solve it. You must remember a few crucial points while tackling this puzzle to complete it.

You’ll notice the crystals require multiple hits from your spells, or a single hit from your thunder spell. However, using the thunder spell won’t recharge the next attack fast enough to destroy all the crystals.

On top of that,you can’t use a single charge to destroy the crystalssince the blast can only be aimed at one of them. That means you must find a way toattack them all quickly, so none of them have enough time to reappear after you destroy them.

How To Solve It

However, if you want the solution to the puzzle, you can follow these steps to complete it.

If you do it correctly, you should destroy all the crystals and clear the path. If you can’t do it fast enough, try to grind for a bit andlevel up your Dexterity. Doing so will increase the length of your charge, giving you more time to perform all the actions. However, if you practice enough, you should get it after several attempts.
