Cereza Faces A Spriggan And Two Other Faeries In Arena

Back on the main path, you’ll be led to a patch of icy brambles. Instead of melting it and proceeding forward, melt the icy pillars on the leftto take a hidden path into a new area filled with more icy pillars.

Each of the icy pillars here will contain faerieswithin them. you may ignore them or take them on, but if you decide to defeat these faeries, you’ll want to destroy each pillar one at a time to prevent yourself from getting overwhelmed.

Munuch Duplicates Itself During Battle

On the far north side of this area is asmall icy pillaragainst the wall. Melt it toreveal a wispwithin you’re able to rescue.

Destroy the icy brambles on the main path now andcontinue down to a Tir Na Nog.

Tir Na Nog - Sleet And Hail

The first part of thiscombat trialis simple. You’ll have a standard faerie, a mage, and a Spriggan to contend with.Defeat them allto spawn the second wave: a Bananach and Sparcanagh.

Once both large enemies have been defeated, the boss of this Tir Na Nog,Muruch, will challenge you.

Looking At The Ashenbark Woods Map Before Backtracking To Collect

Muruch is aswift ice-element faeriethat skates across the ground and has a large range with the appendage on its head.

Fire Cheshire is recommendedfor this fight.Use Thorn Bind when Muruch is skating byand use as many Bind Combos as you’re able to muster.

Once Muruch is defeated, you’ll be brought back to Puca’s Fortress.

Puca’s Fortress - Returned

After returning from Sleet and Hail, turn around and climb the nearby steps. You’ll return to a chest you couldn’t open earlier, and opening it now will grant you one of each kind of potion (except a Healing Tonic).

Follow the paw printsagain through a series of icy brambles until you return to the Jade Hill Area.

With all elements in hand, there is a lot of backtracking for collectibles to undertake. In addition to finding new items, there are also undiscovered map locations and a missing Sanctuary in Puca’s Fortress to find.

For the time invested in finding all the remaining collectibles, you’re able to expect anadditional two hours of gametimeusing a reliable guide for all these items and possibly more time without.

Below is a table-guide for locating all the remaining items, sorted by location. If you do not wish to collect them all, you can simply carry on into the Forbidden Altar.

Location

Wisp #1

From the entrance from Puca’s Fortress into Jade Hill, ignore the vine bridge for now andhead southuntil you’ve nearly reached the border between theWhispering Pathand Jade Hill. Descending a mushroom ladder, you will spy anabsorbable water source. Interacting with it will drain the water andreveal a wispyou can rescue.

Wisp #2

From the vine bridge near the Jade Hill Tir Na Nog site and Puca’s Fortress entrance,go southwest from the north side of the bridgetowardicy brambles. The wisp will be on the path beyond after a mushroom ladder and among some bushes to the north.

Moon Pearl

At thebottom of the mossy logat the end of Lake Nimueh and before crossing into Sunspeckled Grove, use thepink flowerby jumping on and havingCheshire use Grab to pull Cereza east.A Moon Pearl can be found on anabove ledgeyou can jump onto.

Wisp

Go north of the mossy logat the end of Lake Nimueh to the waterfront where Cheshire canretrieve a lily padby swimming.Take the lily pad northto find a wisp standing on a stone at the end. They ask for3 Demonic Mists.

Tir Na Nog - Showdown

From the Sunspeckled Grove Sanctuary,go east to a pair of mushroom ladders.Take them down, activate the bridge shortcut, and enter the Tir Na Nog at the bottom.

This is acombat trial. Enemies leave traps when defeated, and there is a bomb flower you may use to one-shot enemies. Defeat all faeries to clear this challenge.

From the Wyvern Falls Sanctuary, travel to the rightuntil you havepassed the first mushroom ladderyou can descend. On the bottom, take the path to the rightand beneath a small pond. You’ll findan elevator near a resource chest.Take this elevator up.At the top, you can lower the bridge to make a shortcut and thentalk to the wispnearby. They will ask for35 Onyx Roses.

Tir Na Nogs #1 and #2 - Obstruction and Resentment (+ Journal Piece)

Continue through Wyvern Falls until you reach theArcane Lanternon a platform that can lead in four directions.Take the right exitwhere you can find alily padWater Cheshire can retrieve. Ride the lily pad across to asmall island covered in Rosemary. With Cereza on the topmost part of this island, direct Cheshire on his lily pad to theshore north of the spinning platform.Climb the steps and jump over the small gap to line Cheshire up with the spinning contraption. He can nowuse Aquastream to turn it,allowing Cereza to jump on. On the other side, you canenter the Tir Na Nog, Obstruction. Once it is complete, you can alsochallenge the second Tir Na Nogbehind it by clearing theicy bramblesnorth of the first. On the other side of the second Tir Na Nog is aJournal pieceup above, past the stairs.

Both trials arecombat trials. Obstruction features several enemies withall forms of barriers.Use the right elemental form of Cheshire todestroy their barrierswhile avoiding or defeating the carnivorous flowers zoning the arena. Resentment requires you to do the same thing (with less barriered enemies) whileavoiding the magic trapsin the center of the arena.

Tir Na Nog #3 - Breakthrough

Travel even further into Wyvern Falls until you reach thefinal Arcane Lantern areawith the Skills Mirror.Travel rightof this area and take the path down toward several green jumping flowers andtwo fallen cagesin the water nearby. Jump onto the cages to reach a hidden path leading north. The Tir Na Nog is at the end.

Like the previous two dungeons, this Tir Na Nog is acombat trial. It featuresfour fiery trapsat the corners of a square pattern. To deal damage and defeat the enemies, Cereza will need toThorn Bind them first.Only Bound enemies will be susceptible to Cheshire’s attacks.

From the Chalkroot Hollow Sanctuary, descend themushroom ladder to the eastin order to head south. As you follow the path to the large wooden stump with a chest on it,absorb the waterto reveal anicy barrierin the hollow of the tree ahead. Melt it to reveal the wisp.

Tir Na Nog - Protection

In Lower Chalkroot Hollow, take the elevator downandgo eastwhere you can encounter several faeries. Ignore them and descend the nearby ladder for a path to an elevator. At the bottom, use Water Cheshire to bring the lily pad to the shore, but have Cerezajump onto the floating flowerinstead of the lily pad. Switch Cheshire between his Wood and Water form to drag Cereza’s flower northwest to the nearby ledge.

Head north to a series of broken platforms.Regenerate these platformswith Cereza’s Witch’s Pulse dance and then jump across them to find a Tir Na Nog.

This combat trial is very straightforward:defeat all the barriered enemieswith the correct elemental Cheshire. This trial’s one gimmick is that there areseveral traps on the ground,so either use Hug Cheshire to trigger them or avoid them entirely. Either way, defeat the enemies and leave this Tir Na Nog with your reward.

Inferno Fruit

Start in Chalkroot Hollowandwalk northinto Sunspeckled Grove. You’ll first come across a set of stairs and abreakable circleon the ground. UsingStone Cheshire’s Stompwill lead to an area below accessible by a ladder. This area will have anInferno Fruit. Claim it and return to the surface.

Travel backwards through Sunspeckled Grovefrom Chalkroot Hollow Sanctuary until you find themoveable crateon the ground.Position it under the ladderand climb up. Follow the path to the right until you come across an area with water and severalflying flowers.Step onto the firstand have Cheshirepull it back and to the leftto reach a ledge with a Moon Pearl.

Tir Na Nog - Evasion

Use the flying flowers from the Moon Pearl above anduse both Wood and Water Cheshire to cross the several platforms to the north, swimming across to islands with Water mode and pulling Cereza along with Wood.

Along the way, ensure to step off the flowers to grow those on the next island in case things accidentally go wrong and for ease in backtracking, should you need it.

At the end of the path, continue north to challenge a Tir Na Nog.

For a walkthrough on this puzzle Tir Na Nog, see below for an in-depth explanation

From the Evasion Tir Na Nog,continue southalong the path to find a wisp at the very end, leading to a shortcut ladder connecting to Chalkroot Hollow Sanctuary.

From the Leafy Nook Sanctuary, run into Lake Nimuehand across the bridge near the Leafy Nook and Lake Nimueh main entrance. To the southeastis a door Cheshire pulled down earlier. Go past it and the guarded chest to its right. Past a flower you can grow,Regenerate the broken bridge on the far east side. You can finda wispon the other side of this. Free it and return to the west side of the bridge.

Tir Na Nog #1 - Bordering Death

Grow the flying flowernear the bridge and step onto it. Wood Cheshire can thenpull Cereza to a ledge to the northwest.Jump onto this ledge and follow a very long path that includes:

When you reach the section of brambles, ascend until you reach a flower you can use tojump across with Hug Cheshire.Break the brambleson the other side of the gap. Continuing down this way, takea bridge you can repairwith Regenerate andjump across two green flowersto reach a Tir Na Nog.

Bordering Death is acombat trialyou must completewithout Cereza getting hit. There are several strong enemies, bomb faerieswill appear and self-destruct, andtwo laser turretswill intermittently fire in an X-pattern across the arena to zone you.

To complete this challenge, it is recommended tokeep Cereza down in the lower quadrantof the arena circle while Cheshire deals with the foes.

Inferno Fruit #1

From the Bordering Death Tir Na Nog,jump downinto the area below the green flowers to take ahidden side path to the east. This will lead to anInferno Fruityou can take as a reward for completing the nearby trial.

Inferno Fruit #2

From the first Inferno Fruit, go back westand backtrack until you jump over a green flowerpast two regular bramble walls. You should spy amushroom ladderon this side.Take the ladder downto a gate you can step under and cross into a section with asecond ladder.Climb it to gain anotherInferno Fruit.

Tir Na Nog #2 - Imprecation

Go back through the gate doorfrom the second Inferno Fruit. Ignore the ladder going up and insteadjump downto see awall of icy brambles.Break them and continue along the path with the jumping flower and the ladder to abroken bridge. Repair it to cross. On the other side of the bridge and at the end of the path is a Tir Na Nog.

The arena for thiscombat trialhasfour icy pillarsthat Fire Cheshire can destroy before they become an issue. Do this first asenemies that are defeated leave curse trapson the ground, and the pillars include an extra layer of zoning you don’t need.

From the Tir Na Nog, Imprecation, site, continue eastuntil you reach a ledge you can jump off of.Wait for the train to appear below and jump onto it.The train will take you into Faerieland Tower and down to aplatform on the north sideyou can jump off at. After you jump, you can explore this mini-area and find aMoon Pearlat the end.

Lake Nimueh And Sunkissed Shore

Journal

This uncovered/missed Journal you could have picked up during theeighth chaptercan be found along thetiny waterfall-rapidspath littered with whirlpools. It is located around the corner and on thenorth side of the map’s area.

Starting at the Lake Nimueh Sanctuary, travel east to a pair of rising and falling flowersat the top of a small hillside. Riding on them, you’ll be brought totwo broken platformsyou can use Regenerate on. Once fixed, you’ll be able tojump acrossthem into a new area with a flaming brazier. A wisp can be found beside that fire. Free them and then continue on across a bridge you must repair first.

Tir Na Nog - Skirmish

Across the bridge, jump over two rising and falling flowersto reach a lily pad. Place Water Cheshire on this lily pad anduse Aquastream to propel yourself northward.Eventually, you’ll be shown the prompt that you have entered the Sunkissed Shore area. Continuing directly ahead, you’ll stumble uponan island with a Tir Na Nog. Challenge the Tir Na Nog to uncover the rest of the Sunkissed Shore for exploration.

Inside thiscombat trial, you’ll have to take on all the enemieswithout Cereza taking a single point of damage. The enemies here aren’t particularly challenging, but there is aring of magic trapsaround the arena that can make navigation difficult.

Above the Sunkissed Shore Sanctuary, this wisp sits on themain, northern path to the rightand asks for50 Baked Geckos.

Journal #1

Above the Sunkissed Shore Sanctuary, the Journal piecesits across from the wispon the main, northern path and to the left.

Blast Cocktail - Puzzle Chest

In thefarthest northern areafrom the Sanctuary, you’ll need to find a chest where you must:

Found in a wide-open area directlynorthwest of the Sunkissed Shore Sanctuaryand near a buried chest.

Journal #2

On thenortheastern sideof the shore from the Sanctuary, climb a spiral staircaseto find a Journal piece at the top.

Ashenbark Woods

Left of the red spiral staircasenorth of Ashenbark Woods, break the gate with Cheshire.Following the path, you’llfind a wispin a faerie trap to the left you may free.

Umbran Syrup - Puzzle Chest

On the path after the first wisp, find this puzzle chest at the bottom of a ladder. To solve it:

Tir Na Nog - Cursed Chains

Toss Cheshireup onto the ledgenear the puzzle chestand have himlower the ladder.Climb up and follow the path to a wall of flames you can put out byabsorbing the fire source. Then, take a set of stairson the other side that activate an illusion field when you attempt to walk down them. A Tir Na Nog is at the end.

As the name implies, you’ll have toThorn Bind enemieswith Cereza to deal any damage. There aretwo crisscrossing laser turretsthat fire every few seconds, so move carefully between the four quadrants of the arena to Thorn Bind enemies and send Cheshire across with Bind Combo when needed.

Stone Cheshire is an excellent choiceto use here thanks to his ability to ignore the lasers for the most part. Using Bind Combo frequently will help him traverse the quadrants despite his poor maneuverability.

From the red, spiral staircase at the beginning, climb up andcontinue through all the trapsalong your route until you reach thesecond spinning flamethrower contraption(the one with the stairs in the center). Instead of going down the stairs,go down the ramp on the leftto find afire sourceyou can absorb. This will open a path you should take up to asecond fire wall. This wall can be put out withWater Cheshire’s Aquastream, anda wispasking forthree Healing Tonicscan be found on the other side.

Remembrance

Located above the second wisp at the top of the staircase.

Continue through the remainder of Ashenbark Woodsas you did the first time with Cereza. Eventually, you’ll reach thecircular area in front of Puca’s Fortress. This area is now crawling with faeries, so either dispatch them or run quickly past them to head down theright path to a Moon Pearlat the dead end.

Puca’s Fortress

Tir Na Nog #1 - Blinding Dark

Steppingbehind the Sanctuarynook where Cheshire and Cereza sleep when resting, you’ll findan elevatorthat takes you up to the first Gear Device area.Take the large gear upto the next floor and then, after interacting with the nearby Gear Device, step onto the second gear. Instead of using the third gear, as you did during your first visit, step off to the rightonce the gear tooth you’re standing on nears its pinnacle.

Toss Cheshireonto the ledge above so he can go around andknock down the ladder.Jump downfrom this platform area andclimb the ladderto reach an area with a Tir Na Nog.

Thiscombat trialrequires you todefeat all enemies without getting hit, meaning you’ll have to beware of both the enemies and thefour fire trapsin the arena. There are a few harder foes and barriered enemies, so tread with caution.

AJournal piececan be found on thepath to the rightof the Blinding Dark Tir Na Nog at the very end.

Continue on through Puca’s Fortressas you did during your first visit. Passing several gears, the large open windows Cereza once snuck past, and through a second set of gears, stop and take note of a blue brazierright before stepping onto another gear.

When stepping onto this gear, don’t get offas you normally would and insteadride past the initial platformto one on thefar right side.Jump off to find a ramp to a chest with a Healing Tonic.Climb the nearby ladderto anInferno Fruitand then use the ladder on the left side of this platform to fall down.

Continue to an elevator device, butpass the devicebriefly toattack a gate to the leftof the elevator shaft.A wispasking forx40 Avalon Dropswaits on the other side.

Tir Na Nog #2 - Deliverance

Walking across the rafters and gears here, you’ll be brought back to the prison where Cheshire was once held.Take the ladder downinto this area andgo south.Break the gatein your way with a slash andgo through two large, open areas- including an elevator device you should ignore. Once you enter an illusion field,go around(either left or right)the coffinsthat block your path to find a Tir Na Nog behind them.

This combat trial features several strong enemies that each have a different type of barrier. Defeat the enemies in this trial by smartly facing each faerie with the correct attribute of Cheshire and Thorn Binding each enemy away from one another to prevent attacking the wrong foe.

Travel eastof the Windy Knot Sanctuary. Follow this main path into thearea marred by red claw markswhere several fae will spawn to attack you. Defeat these fae and then travel further east to a wall oficy bramblesFire Cheshire can destroy. On the other side of the brambles, you’ll spytwo swinging flowers.Jump acrosseach of them to reach a platform on the far side with anInferno Fruit.

Start from theWatchtower Sanctuaryand take themossy tree path on the left sideof this area. Going up, you’ll find aplatform in need of repair. Regenerate it andjump across to reach the wispon the other side. This wisp will demand99 Avalon Dropsfrom you.

You can reach Machina by eithertaking the bridge shortcut(if you opened it but missed Machina) near the beginning of the approach to Amadan’s Big Top, or you’ll have to venture through all of Amadan’s Big Top until you reachthe dirt area where a Digger faerie will always spawn.Machina is foundbehind the Tir Na Nog siteon the far west side of this area, reached via alarge yellow spring mushroomand hidden behind anabsorbable stone wallat the end of the path.

Take the mushroom ladder on the northwest side of the play area.Follow the path around to alarge bridge.A Remembrancecan be found in the center of it.

Tir Na Nog - Vehemence

Continue past the Remembranceonce claimed, and then along the path until you eventually come to a dead end with your last backtracking Tir Na Nog.

To begin thiscombat trial, activate the bomb flowerbefore attempting to move forward with Cereza. You’ll have to defeat all enemies in this trial quickly, given its classification as aTime Limit trial, and successfully hitting any enemy with a bomb flower will destroy an enemy in one blow (in most instances).

Alternatively, you may attempt this trial without the bomb flowers if you’re uncertain about hitting enemies quickly and accurately enough. Attempting this Tir Na Nog without the bombs, however, will mean relying on good use of Bind Combo and Mastery skills.

Tir Na Nog - Evasion (Optional)

Unlike the last several Tir Na Nogs, this one is a difficultpuzzle trial.

You might recognize the style of this trial as, once again, you’ll be tasked withrunning across several platformsandevading a black fog of deathbehind you.

To rise into the puzzle area, have Cheshire stand on the right platform button and have Cereza pull the lever on the left platform.

As with the previous puzzle like it:

The first round of the puzzle is simple and helps you remember the mechanics of the tiles.

Justsend Cheshire forwardand then Cereza slightly after until they reach the green tile. Cereza stepping on it will let Cheshire then move forward, and the two can complete the round together.

The second round of the puzzle is incredibly short and only two steps, but it does introduce a new concept:fire obstacles.

Occasionally, there will be sections of Cereza’s side on fire. Have Cheshire take on Water mode touse Aquastreamover on Cereza’s side and put the fire out.

For the third section, Cheshire shoulduse Aquastreamwhile Cereza runs forwardto create a path for her demon companion. Once Cereza reaches the gate on her side, Cheshire needs to run forward andactivate the green buttonso she can continue.

Put out the fire on the final tile on Cheshire’s side to progress into the next phase.

Now, the puzzle gets even trickier with the introduction ofblasting turrets. They will continuously shoot balls of blue magic in straight lines across both sides.

Slowly move Cereza aheadof Cheshire just a bit to give him a path to follow, and maneuver both across while avoiding the turrets as best as possible.

If you’re hit by the turrets, don’t worry too much. You can take a few blasts easily without it interfering too badly in time or damage.

In the next section, follow the same strategy until you reach thehalfway point.

At the halfway point,Cheshire and Cereza’s roles will need to switchas the glowing tiles will swap sides. Cheshire will then need to take the lead into the next section.

For the final path, have Cheshire run all the wayto the final tile and then stop. Face Cereza’s side andfire an Aquastream at the topmost file.you may put out the fires on the entire path by moving Aquastream in a sweeping motion downward.

With the fire put out, Cereza can nowrun across, and both can climb out of the Tir Na Nog with another reward.

x1 (Umbran Syrup)

x1 (Imposing Light)

Finally, you’re able to begin your approach to Lukaon.

From the Jade Hill Sanctuary,go northeastto enter an area with a locked puzzle chest (which should be open) and thennorth through an absorbable wall.On the other side, you’ll spy a large circular spot on the ground below.

Follow the paw prints, stopping only on a side path for an extra Umbran Syrup from a chest to reach a series ofrising and falling flowersyou must hop across.

The Forbidden Grounds Sanctuary is found at the very bottom of this long path. However, take a break from the main path totravel to the northeast of the Sanctuary to a hidden pathbehind with rising and falling flowers you may climb.

Take the flowers upto a ledge that leads to the Sunspeckled Grove.

Traverse across a vine bridge andcontinue westward, ignoring any side paths for now, until you dead end to atrapped wisp.Free them.

Going back, take theside path to the northand discover anarea with a Remembrance.

Interact with the Remembrance, go back to the main path, activate the shortcut flower to the Forgotten Knoll, and thenreturn to the Forbidden Grounds Sanctuary.

Following the paw printsagain, go down the winding hill path (grab the Journal piecealong the way), and stop for a cutscene in front of the gaping hole.

After the wolf’s cue, jump into this holewith Cheshire and enjoy the bubble-popping minigame as you descend into the next area which is guarded at the bottom by a Tir Na Nog.

Tir Na Nog - Imposing Light

Thiscombat trialis very simple. It hasno particular gimmicks, and the only objective is to defeat all enemies.

Some enemies will haveelemental shields.Use the correct Cheshire mode to counter them and defeat all enemies as usual.

x1 (Primordial)

Your entrance to the Overgrown Shrine starts with thediscovery of a new Sanctuary.

On the other side of the Overgrown Shrine Sanctuary, you’ll be met with King Puca again and a lengthy cutscene.

As you fight Cheshire, you won’t be able to deal any damage, so you’ll have to get crafty.Step behind the pillarsand use your Regenerateskill torepair them.

Keeping the pillars between Cheshire and Cereza, bait Cheshire to charge-attackinto the pillars and stun himself. When stunned, tap Lin front of him to calm Cheshire. This must be repeatedthree times.

Once Cheshire is calmed, proceed with him into the shrine.

Taking the root path before you, you’ll enter a circular area with a leafy monument of sorts in the center. An icy pillar is on the southwest side of this space.Use Cheshire’s Pyroblastto free and speak with thefinal wisp, Trent.

Going north, use Wood Cheshire topull a flower and create a bridgefor him and Cereza to cross.

On the other side, grab the Journalto the left and go a little furthernorth to a growable flower.

With Wood Cheshire on the ground, use Grab to pull Cereza onto the ledge above. Then, Cereza can recall Cheshire and grow a bridge of flowers across to achest of potions.

Return to the main pathand go north until you’re met with a wall of Rosemary.Throw Cheshireon the ledge above to walk around to a path blocked by aline of laser turrets.

Using Stone Cheshire, block the turretsand slowly move Cereza across the gaps created.

Once they rejoin on the other side, Stone Cheshire and Cereza can use theyellow spring mushroomto jump into an area enclosed by a magic gate.

To open the gate, there arethree blue bulbs(two that must be thawed) that must be Thorn Bound and attacked until they break. The bulbs are:

Beware of thefaerie enemiesthat each have ice and fire shields in the center of this area. Defeat them, and once all the bulbs are destroyed, proceed through the now-opened gate.

Grab the Journalalong your way and enter theillusion field.

Avoiding the Rosemary,Toss Cheshireup onto the above ledge and then send Cereza across the vine bridge below. Once prompted, she shouldgrow the bridge flowerfor Cheshire to cross.

At the end of Cheshire’s path, haveStone Cheshire Stomp on theyellow mushroomto rejoin Cereza. Cereza, in the meantime, shoulddispel the illusionon the broken platform on her path and thenRegenerate itand the platform on the other side.

The Tir Na Nog lies on the other side of the platforms andabove a mushroom ladder.

Tir Na Nog - Primordial

Like the last Tir Na Nog, Primordial is astandard combat trialwith no extra gimmicks or special bosses.

Most of the enemies in this trial, however, are tanky and harder foes that may or may not spawn with barriers.Defeat themto progress.

Journals

As you defeat the Primordial trial, you’ll begin in the Altar of the Faerie King Sanctuary.Restock on any and all potionsas you enter this space.

To the left of this area is a growable resource flower anda piece of Journal. Grab the Journal piece and then go past the Sanctuary to trigger another cutscene.

After this cutscene, you’ll be thrown into a strange Tir-Na-Nog-esque space where you’ll need to avoid Lukaon’s attacks while making your way to Cheshire.

The first part of this attempt will be aslide-challengewhere you’ll need to navigate a long slide whiledodging breaks in the pathahead of you caused by vines.

The vine attacks are all telegraphed bygreen, glowing markson the ground, so move Cereza onto the opposite side to avoid falling.

At the end, you’lljump off onto several large stones.Jump across them quicklybefore they break and regenerate any platforms along the way.

Occasionally, the path will split. The correct path to take will be indicated by the only path that isn’t glowing yellow and appearing to crumble.

After Lukaon absorbs the Stone element, he’ll switch to Water. Your objective will be toquickly reach the chainson the far side of a bridge ahead of you.

Aquastreams will shoot down and then outtoward you. They begin at the end of the path and move up, somaneuver Cereza around them(left or right) until you reach the chains you can thenbreak with Witch’s Pulse.

In the next section, follow the rings around to the rightanddodge the falling fireballsindicated by yellow-orange circles on the ground.

When the path opts for you to split either up or down, take the lower pathand continue to thesecond set of chains.Destroy them to rescue Cheshire.

With Cheshire in your arms now, slide downthe next section andavoid the elementsLukaon throws at you. He has four attacks:

Wood

Several vines follow quickly behind Cereza. To dodge, quickly move left and right to shake him off.

Stone

A large, yellow stone will burst from the ground to block you. It is telegraphed by a yellow, cracked line on the ground. Avoid sliding in the direction of the line.

Water

The camera will change, and Lukaon will perform Aquastreams first at the ground and then outward. Angle Cereza out of any direct line in front of Lukaon to avoid his attacks.

Fire

Walls of fire will appear and block Cereza’s path, created by a falling meteor. Dodge the fire indicated by yellow circles and angle Cereza around the walls of flame.

Lukaon will begin his assault down this slide witheach of these elements in order firstand then, once one rotation has finished, he willrandomly attackwith all four of them.

At the bottom of the slide, you’ll finally be able to challenge Lukaon.

Hefights you in each elementone at a time and in order of the elements as you procured them:Wood, Stone, Water, and then Fire.

Each phase with Lukaon will feature attacks with that element, and openings for Thorn Vice will appear intermittently. These phases each last approximatelyone-fifth of his health bar.

For Lukaon, the best strategy is tonot play too aggressively. Keep track of his attacks and wait for openings. His range and speed are typically higher than yours (especially in Wood and Water form), so play smart and don’t get greedy; he will punish you.

Once Lukaon reaches thefinal 20 percentof his health, you’ll be moved into the next phase of the fight. This phase will featureCheshire Unbound.

Cheshire Unbound will allow Cereza toride Cheshire. As a result:

Lukaon willrefill his health barfor this phase, but Cheshire Unbound will be able to make up for that disadvantage with raw damage potential. You canplay aggressivelynow and take on Lukaon confidently with this newly gained power.

Once Lukaon is defeated, you’ll be returned to his shrine and allowed the opportunity totalk with himagain in the next chapter.
