Wisps
x1
From the Forgotten Knoll playground, venture northwhere the Chapter Five bookmark will trigger. Going forth, you’ll come acrosstwo wisps staring at the tent, that is your destination. You’ve already met the one on the right, buttalking to the left and giving them five Unicorn Horns(crafting materials) will add them to your wisp list.

Heading further left, absorb the flower in your way and then, after absorbing the second flower beside the path, head south to find a hidden chest of resources.
On the main path, create a bridgeover to a circular area. Ignore the path to the southwest unless you have interest infighting a faerie ambushfor crafting materials. Instead, grow the bomb floweron the far west side of this area.

Taking the bomb, direct Cheshire slightly south and around the corner so he can properlythrow the bomb into the center of this circle. Doing so will destroy the rock barrier and reveal a ladder.Climb down that ladder and walk west to activate the leverthat will lower the bridge.
Bridge lowered, run acrossand fight the weak faerie on the other side. With that faerie out of the way, take a quick detour southand pause.

You’ll notice that the wind here is strong. If you’re not careful, you’ll be thrown off the tight rope in front of you.
Wait for the strongest phase of the wind to die downbefore quickly making your way across the tight rope. On the other end, you’ll find a hidden chest with a Healing Tonic.

With that tonic in hand, return to the area whence you came andwalk across the tight rope on the other side. Keep in mind the wind when crossing; you’ll only have enough time if you leave just after the strongest wind stops.
After you climb the stairs, note thelever that Wood Cheshire can pull. Pulling it will summon a train that will stop at this station.Jump onfor it to take you toAmadan’s Big Top and the Stone Shrine.

x1 (Bravery)
Elemental Core
x1 (Stone)
The train will take you straight into aboss fight against “Amadan Dubh”. He’s a bit of a tricky fight and will require you touse Wood Cheshire in order to knock him off his ballsince you may’t damage him while he’s on it.

You can lengthen the time you deal damage to him when knocked off the ball by using Thorn Bind near the end of the animation.
When he changes strategy and begins hopping on pillars, you’ll need touse your Thorn Bind before stepping on a buttonto fire his own cannon back at him. After dealing enough damage to Amadan, you’ll get abutton-mashing L and R cutsceneto put him out of his misery and open the path to the Stone Shrine. Collect all the resources and the full Vitality Flower beforewalking forward into the Shrine.

Inside, attack the Elemental Coreto absorb the Stone power. Doing so will grant Cheshire a Stone Form. In his Stone Form, he gains aground Stomp abilityyou can use to:
Cereza will also now have the ability toabsorb large stonesto further increase her and Cheshire’s Magic Gauge. Absorb the stones you find in this shrine area.
Return briefly to the arenawhere you faced Amadan Dubh andrun to the southern sideto find a locked chest puzzle.
To open it:
This puzzle chest might require a few tries due to how quickly the timer on each of these bulbs run out, but after destroying all three bulbs, you’ll receive an Umbran Syrup and several resources.
Return to the Stone Shrineand you should see apath leading rightbehind a stone you can absorb. Follow this path to a breakable stone circle.Using your Stompon this will open a path you can fall into.
From here, follow the paththrough the door you can dip beneath.
You’ll notice a lot of breakable objects and flippable wood pieces along your route. Feel free to destroy all of these for extra resources, and after your “Smash Party,” you’ll stumble across several faeries.
One of the faeries, you should note, has a shield. Thisshield can be broken by Cheshire’s Stomp, so break it and defeat the enemies here as you would normally.
You may notice a wisp on the platform above this area. To reach it, go northeast until you find somebreakable boulders.Use Cheshire to break them and reveal a seesaw.Place Cereza on the right side of the seesaw and Cheshire on the left.
Then, use Cheshire’s Stompto catapult Cereza onto the platform above. This will give her access to the Wisp, who you can then free.
As you go down the first flight of stairs on the main path, pause before you descend the ladder. Instead, find the hidden path to the right of the stairs.
Travel down this hidden path, usingStompto clear the many obstacles in your path. At the very end, there’sa chest hidden in the ground. To reveal it,use Stomp.Cereza can then open it for some resources.
Returning to the main path anddescending the ladder, you’ll eventually come acrossa large area with strange, spring-like pads. Running past the first one you see,run over to the far leftand have Cheshire climb onto the glowing red and yellow platform. Then, move Cereza onto the red one above it.
Using Cheshire’s Stompwill raise Cereza’s platform and give her access toa tight ropeshe can travel across to reach a chest for more resources. Return to the ground. Now move Cheshire to the center platformyou crossed over at the start. Cereza shouldmove past him to the red spring platformnortheast of it just beneath a ladder. Cheshire’s Stomp will allow Cereza toclimb up.
From here, clamber onto the giant yellow mushroom and use Stompto launch yourself a great distance. When you land, head southonto a tilting platform where you can spot both aJournal piece and the White Wolf.
Take the Journal piece andplace Cheshire on the north sideof this platform to allow Cereza to progress.
If you use Stomp while on the tilting platform, Cereza will be launched into the air to reach a platform with aresource chest. To get back down, run right and slide down the ladder.
Before you continue and climb onto the next yellow mushroom, use Wood Cheshire todeal with the Spriggan to the south. With it out of the way, you can open a chest for resources.
Afterward, climb onto the giant yellow mushroomand Stomp yourself forward.
When you land, head around this circular area to the left to find ahidden set of descending stairsbehind some bushes in the northwest corner. Follow this path to findan unguarded Inferno Fruitbefore returning to and climbing the stairs on the main path.
A chest can be found along your route, so open it for anambush attack(featuring aGog-Magog), some resources, and aDemonic Mist potion.
If you’re a user of potions, it is heavily recommended here to hold onto this Demonic Mist for a bit. At the following Arcane Lantern, make sure you have two of them in your inventory.
Past the Arcane Lantern in the space just after the chest,go up the two flights of stairs to the leftand thenup a third flight past the tea set.At the top of the stairs, you’ll find abreakable boulder circle. Stomp on it to reveal a path to a chest with a Healing Tonic.
Climbing the stairs again and continuing on the main path, aburrowing faerie- known as a “Knocker” - will attack you.Use Cheshire’s Stomp to force it out of the groundfor you to fight it.
UsingThorn Bindwill keep it from burrowing again.
Once it is defeated, go west if you wish to challenge an optional Tir Na Nog orgo northto continue along the main path.
Tir Na Nog - Bravery (Optional)
The Bravery challenge is aTime Limit trialwhere you must defeat all the enemies within the fixed time limit. Enemies in this challenge includeevery non-boss enemy you’ve faced so far, except a Gog-Magog. From mages to Knockers to Bananachs - this combat trial is built to test your knowledge of every enemy you’ve faced.
Focus on eliminating the enemies as quickly as possible, making good use of yourMulti-Bind and Bind Combosand singling them out to whittle their health down fast. With every defeated enemy, yourtime will be slightly restored. Continue knocking them out one-by-one until you’ve claimed victory and can return with your prize.
Amadan’s Big Top - Continued
Going north from the Knocker spawn site, jump across a number of platformsbefore climbing onto a yellow mushroom. From here, use Stomp on a series of three giant mushroomsto catapult yourself to the top of this area.
When you arrive, you’ll be faced with severallaser turretsthat you’ll need to cross to progress. The first two are timed, but the others are continuous.
To pass them, you’ll need toplace Stone Cheshire in front of themto act as a shield for Cereza as she moves ahead.
Once across, you candouble back on a set of mushroomsand launch yourself backward to an upper platform. From this platform, you’ll note aMoon Pearl crystalto the north you’ll need to useHug Cheshireto reach.
After claiming it, you have to run back across all the turrets again to continue onward.
As youfollow the pawprintsto a green flower that you can use with Hug Cheshire to jump onto a large yellow mushroom, don’t cross yetandturn right.
Follow that path downto find a locked puzzle chest:
Opening this chest will net you several resources and a Blast Cocktail.
From here, head up and slightly to the righttoward a shielded faerie. Use Stomp to break its shield. With it now vulnerable, you can make short work of it and move on.Further to the north at the end of a ledge, you’ll find something glimmering in the ground. Cheshire’s Stomp can reveala chest hidden undergroundyou can open for some resources.
Now you cango back to the jumping flowerandlaunch yourself off the large yellow mushroom. There will be a series of mushrooms to Stomp your way up on, and you’ll land on a platform high in the air.
Travel to theyellow mushroom on the far south side of this platform.Stomp yourself across the gap to briefly enter the Forgotten Knoll again. Awisp will be in an alcove on the north side. Talk to it andoffer it two Demonic Mist potionsto add it to your collection.
Additionally, there is aresource chest on the far southwest sideof this area. Collect it and use a mushroom toreturn to the previous platform.
Jade Hill And The Leafy Nook Revisited
Break the brambles to the northand thenhead directly west(left) from here. Before you will lie theold Jade Hill Sanctuarywhere you’ll be introduced to the strange NPC from Chalkroot Hollow again. This NPC, Ignis, will now open you up to theFast Travelmechanic.
From the Jade Hill Sanctuary, you may travel north and have two options:
Tir Na Nog
x1 (Restraint)
Go northwardall the way past the brambles, sets of traps, and back to the central area with a few faeries and the mushrooms on the far right side that can launch you to a cliffside with a gate-door.
This is near the Calamity Tir Na Nog site fromthe third chapter.
Defeat the fae andlaunch yourself onto that cliffsideto go under the door.
From here, go to the waterside togrow a series of flowers you can climb on.Climb them and continue forward until you reach a dead end with two flowers you can grow into bridges. The one to the right doesn’t lead to anywhere yet, but canactivate a shortcutfor you later. The onenorth leads to the Tir Na Nog.
Tir Na Nog - Restraint (Optional)
Once again, this is a combat trial, but you’ll need to bind your enemies for them to take any damage.
As far as combat trials go, this is definitelyone of the harder mid-game challengesdue to thezoning magic trapson the ground and the sheer number of varied enemies. Defeat them all, being careful not to abuse Bind Combo and send Cheshire flying into the magic traps. You have no time limit, so take your time in doing so.
Afterward, you can leave with anotherVitality Petaland return to the main path (either by walking or by using your new Fast Travel mechanic from a Sanctuary).
Progressing To Chapter Six
On the main path, follow the paw prints onto a giant yellow mushroom.Use Stompto fly across onto a cliffside high above.
From here, follow the pathand jump with Hug Cheshire across a gap. As you continue forward from here, you’ll enter a new zone:The Windy Knot. It is from here that the aptly named “Fear and Frustration” Chapter Six begins.
