8Move Your Way Up From Easy

What you’ll want to use it for in Horde Mode is to learn enemy info, so if a demon appears that you aren’t too familiar with, check the Codex to see its weaknesses. Time won’t tick on when reviewing the Codex, so use it to determine how you’ll take out some of the demonsyou’re facing in the round.
5Study Round Types
Horde Mode in Doom Eternal has five round types. Arena is a simple combat scenario with waves of demons that you need to beat, Blitz requires you to kill as many of one specific type of demon during the allotted time, and the Bonus Coin Round tasks you with collecting as many coins as you’re able to before the timer ends.

Then there’s Traversal, which sees you jump, dash, and use the super shotgun’s meat hook to make it through a platforming course.

The same goes for anypowerups you use, since it can be enticing to use them immediately, but you can save them and use them whenever you’d like. Just don’t go nuts with spraying your weapon and using every power-up right away, or you’ll be sorry.
3Focus On Bounty Demons
Horde Mode has a heavy focus on time, and basically, everything needs to be done in a certain amount of time. This includes defeating bounty demons, special demons on the map that give loads of points when defeated, but the number of points rewarded diminishes the longer they live.
Not only do you get the points for toppling a bounty demon, but you may also get a useful power-up. The stronger the powerup is the quicker you take that demon out during the round.
Shift your attention to the bounty demons to ensure your score and abilities are as good as they can as early as they can be.
2Lay Of The Land
When you start a game of Horde Mode in Doom Eternal, it is essential that youunderstand the map. Before taking on a massive wave of demons, run around and get an idea of the surrounding area, which is vital to your survival.
By surveying the map, you’ll know where cover is, health and ammo spawns, and the best path to safety if the going gets rough. You do not want to be low on health only to have zero clue where a health pickup is.
