Welcome toSun Haven, a land filled with wonder and mystery, where spells are as common as sunshine. There’s a spell for almost everything, from practical spells for farming use to powerful incantations for taking down enemies.

Sun Haven’s blend of magical fantasy and farming simulator work in harmony, keeping you coming back for another in-game day to improve bit by bit. But with so many spells and skills, you’ll need to know which ones are the best before investing all your hard-earned points.
11Ethereal Axe
Ethereal Axe is an unlockable spell from the exploration tree. Activating the spell summons a spectral axe that swings in an arc, damaging trees and enemies (if they ever come around to fixing the latter). The Ethereal Axe damage and mana cost improves up to three tiers and can even slice through tougher trees like Hardwood.
The issue is that the Ethereal Axe is simply inefficient for its high mana cost, especially when considering trees outside your farm sprout away from each other. It’s an infinitely better idea to prioritize crafting a better axe and taking other skills for chopping trees.

10Earthquake
Further down the Farming tree, you can unlock Earthquake. You’ll shake the earth with sheer force, tilling 25 squares of tiles on your farm. For a hefty mana cost, you can save a lot of time preparing the land for seeds.
Earthquake isn’t a bad spell because it gets the job done. However, that’s all it does, nothing more that could give the spell more utility. It can’thelp clean up your farmas it leaves weeds and stones untouched, nor can it be used during combat to disorient your enemies. Nonetheless, it’s still a great spell for its singular purpose.

9Fireball
The first step to any mage’s journey begins with the reliable Fireball. Unlocked at the first tier of the Combat tree, Fireball shoots out a ball of fire that deals damage on contact and burns for a few seconds after. It also scales with any bonuses to your spell damage.
As a combat spell, Fireball will serve you well as a low-cost way todeal with most enemiesin the game. However, against bosses, the slow cast time can put you in a precarious position.

8Chain Lightning
Channel your inner Palpatine and shoot lightning from your fingertips using the Chain Lightning spell, unlocked from the fifth tier of the Combat tree. Chain Lightning deals a little more damage than Fireball but can also jump to nearby enemies.

Sun Haven’s regular enemies have a one-track mind once they spot you, running toward you in groups without regard for their survivability. Their simple behavior makes Chain Lightning a welcome addition for farming monster parts.
7Firebeam
If you’ve ever wanted to unleash a destructive Kamehameha against 2D sprites in a farming simulator game, Sun Haven has got you covered on that niche fantasy. For a sizable chunk of your mana, you can unleash a massive beam of fire that disintegrates any enemies in its wake. It never gets old to melt any hostiles on your way toromance the townsfolk.
However, Firebeam isn’t the boss killer you think it is because of its high mana cost and relatively low damage, even with bonuses from armor and skills. It’s a highly impractical spell but also undeniably fun; you could skip this if you want to min-max.

6Cataclysm
Casting Cataclysm transforms you into your best Sonic impression, turning into a spinning ball of death that deals serious damage to enemies hit, similar to a certain boss youfight down in the caves. Additionally, the spell also grants bonus move speed, so you can hurl yourself toward enemies at lightning speed.
Cataclysm perfectly complements a melee-focused build since you can use it to engage and disengage immediately. Furthermore, the speed burst provides extra utility while navigating the world.

5Aegis
The Aegis spell is unlocked at the last tier of the Combat tree. As one of the final upgrades, it doesn’t disappoint. For a negligible mana cost, Aegis blesses every friendly player on the map with extra armor and HP regeneration for five minutes. Your friends will thank you when you run this spell.

Sun Haven’s bosses are surprisingly challenging, and the extra defense will come a long way to beef up players. The only downside is that, by the time you’ve gotten it, there might only be a few bosses left to fight.
4Bubble Net
Fishing minigames are always a hit or miss in farming simulators. The moment of anticipation before a fish bites, followed by the struggle to reel it in, may be relaxing for others while frustrating for the rest. Fortunately, the game is an RPG, so you’re able to spec into skills to make it easier, more rewarding, or even automate it with fishing nets.
Bubble Net makes fishing even easier by casting a spell to scoop up every fish it travels over. Once you start ramping up all the bonuses in the Fishing tree, you’ll be rolling in gold from harvesting the sea.

3Rain Cloud
Don’t worry about watering a whole farm’s worth of crops bit by bit. Eventually, you’ll unlock the Rain Cloud spell from the Farming tree. Learning the spell lets you summon a personal rain cloud to water crops over a wide area, which is essential for scaling up your farm’s production.
Due to the absence of sprinklers and automated water systems, Rain Cloud is a mandatory spell to save so much time watering crops. You’ll definitely want to snag this spell up as soon as possible.

2Vacuumulus
Mining is an inherently tedious activity. Diving down deeper into chasms to slowly mine for ore and fight off enemies could turn people away from the activity. Sun Haven solves this issue by giving you a spell that emits a powerful shockwave near you, exploding all stones, ores, and enemies in a satisfying crunch.

Vacuumulus is located in the middle of the mining tree. It’s worth making a beeline towards this spell by funneling all your experience toward mining since you’ll be able to breeze through the mines and thus create better tools and armor.
