Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’sSeason 3: Reloaded update has added two new secondaries to core multiplayer and Warzone, one of which is the anticipated TEC-9 SMG. Named the FTAC Siege in this installment, this secondary weapon can pump out a hailstorm of lead with its absurdly high fire rate and minimal recoil.

Compared to other secondaries, the FTAC Siege is a fantastic choice for long-range loadouts that need additional firepower for close-quarters combat. With the right build, you can turn the FTAC Siege into a pocket Fennec that melts targets and can land easy headshots. This guide will cover how to make the best build for this weapon, featuring tuning and loadout recommendations to maximize the FTAC Siege’s effectiveness.
Best FTAC Siege Build
This build focuses on improving the FTAC Siege’s recoil and general accuracy. We start by equipping a stock on the weapon to greatly reduce its visual recoil. We find theFTAC Folderto be the best for this task, as it’s the only stock that doesn’t affect our ADS speed. Paired with theBruen Pendulummuzzle, your weapon will have virtually no recoil. To help offset the increase in ADS time, we use theFJX Diod-70laser and theSur-160rear grip. Both attachments greatly improve our ADS speed and sprint to fire time. Tune your attachments for the same stats, and the FTAC Siege willfeel like a pocket Fennec with zero recoil.
Your gun should feel quite snappy at this point, but it’s going to struggle against SMGs and ARs in close engagements. To help give the FTAC an edge, we’ll be using the somewhat unpopular9mm Overpressured +Pammunition. It has no downsides and greatly increases the flinch you inflict on enemy targets. This means enemies that are a few meters away will struggle to land follow-up shots on you, making it easier to win duels.Stick to using this weapon at close range and aim for the upper torso.

If you find Overpressured +P to be ineffective, feel free to use Armor Piercing ammo, a larger magazine, or any preferred optic. Warzone and DMZ players should use a larger magazine.
Loadout Recommendations
The FTAC Siege works best with an aggressive playstyle, so we’ll be creating a loadout that helps maximize your speed. You’ll want any mid-range weapon in your arsenal to help make up for the Siege’s minimal range. We find ARsand marksman riflesto be solid options here. You’ll also want to useFast Handsto swap between both weapons as soon as possible. For your equipment, you can’t go wrong with Throwing Knives and Stims. You can use Stims to instantly heal before Quick Fix comes online, and the Throwing Knife gives you a one-tap projectile that also replaces your melee.
As for perks, you may’t go wrong withDouble Time, Bomb Squad, Fast Hands, and Quick Fix.Double Time lets you tactical sprint for much longer, letting you benefit from the FTAC Siege’s great sprint speed. Bomb Squad ensures explosives won’t one-tap you, and Fast Hands is mostly used to quickly swap weapons when you need to fight targets past 20 meters. For your ultimate, Quick Fix is too good to pass up for general multiplayer. Kills instantly starting health regeneration lets you play far more aggressively than any other perk, including Ghost.
