Wild Animals

Right from the start of the game, you will be in a sprawling, desert landscape. Your first task after spending time with your mother is to find the farm. The way there is quite short, so you won’t run into much danger.

After leading Ed’s farm, you will visit Taxation, which is a short distance away.On the way here, it’s possible to be attacked by wild animals.Without a weapon in hand, they can quickly drain your health. Additionally, it may be hard to spot these animals when you are running through the brush.

Overall, try to run quickly and have a weapon in hand. The axe you craft at the beginning of the game for Ed will work as a weapon, allowing you tostrike down coyotes that cross your path.

Dying

Dying is possible in Wild West Dynasty, but it’s not ideal. If you do happen to die though, don’t worry!

When you die, you will respawn at the wagon that you and your mom crashed in.This is quite close to Ed and Taxation. If you aren’t prepared to survive far from civilization, we recommend staying close to either the farm or town. When you die, you can then quickly run back home without risking running into any more danger.

Food & Water

Much like in real life, you will need food and water to survive. Fortunately, it’s much easier to get food than you think. While running around, you will come across tons of bushes; many of these bushes provide berries that can be eaten. If you have played Medieval Dynasty, then it’s a similar idea -eat berries to restore a bit of hunger and thirst.

If you need something a bit more filling, you can also eat meat.Early in the game, you will be able to craft a hare trap. Shortly after placing the trap, a rabbit will be caught, and you can collect its meat and fur.

Save the rabbit fur, you can use it to make a bed!

Raw meat can be cooked, but if you are in a pinch, it can also be eaten raw. This will slightlypoisonyou, so don’t rely too heavily on eating raw meat.

Wells are pretty simple to craft, butyou can also use the well on Ed’s farm free of charge.

Prioritizing Your Quests

Following the main story, you will head into Taxation and speak with Karen, doing a little fetch quest for her. After helping Karen, she will direct you to an elevator that’s quite far away. When do you get to start building though? The good news is,you may forget about this main quest if you want.

From the journal tab in the main menu, you can select the quest that you want to focus on. Instead of heading all the way to the elevator shaft, change your prioritized quest to ‘The Newcomer’.This will take you through some basic survival steps and help you get a little house set up.

you may only have one quest displayed on the side of your screen at a time.
