Destiny 2’sSeason of Defiance continues into its sixth week. Six new Seasonal Challenges are available for Guardians to complete, each granting a solid chunk of XP and Bright Dust. Two challenges this week grant a full Season Pass level and 300 Bright Dust each, so it’s a good idea to complete these if you’re low on Bright Dust or haven’t finished your Season Pass yet.

This week, you’ll need to defeat enemies in Defiant Battlegrounds, land seasonal weapon kills against Vex, and earn the Crucible ornament for Ecliptic Distaff. Most of these challenges are fairly easy and shouldn’t take long for most players to finish. We’ll cover all six challenges this week, their rewards, and give some tips on how to complete them as quickly as possible.
Forceful Liberator
Forceful Liberator:Defeat combatants in the Defiant Battlegrounds playlist using Power weapons. Earn bonus progress if they also deal Solar damage.
Reward
Eliminate 75 enemies in Defiant Battlegrounds with your Heavy weaponto finish this challenge. Solar weapons grant additional progress. We highly recommend using Machine Guns for this challenge. Some good picks include Fixed Odds, Retrofit Escapade, and Thunderlord. Void Machine Guns can also benefit from theBricks From Beyond Artifact passive, giving you practically infinite Heavy ammo for the entire mission.

Relentless Liberator
Relentless Liberator:Gain bonus rewards using a Defiant Key at the end of Defiant Battlegrounds playlist activities on both Normal and Legend difficulties.
This challenge states that you must receive bonus rewards from Defiant Battlegrounds. In essence, Relentless Liberator requires you tospend three Defiant Keys in the Defiant Battlegrounds playlist.These keys are spent by unlocking the end-of-match chest that spawns upon defeating the final boss. Both Normal and Legend difficulty variants spawn these chests, so we recommend you farm the Normal variant.
As for getting Defiant Keys, they are obtained by completing ritual activities and Lightfall content. Some Defiant Keys are also available in the paid track of the Season Pass.
Vexing Liberator
Vexing Liberator:Defeat Vex with Seasonal weapons. These are Perpetualis, Prodigal Return, Regnant, Caretaker, Raconteur, and Royal Executioner. Bonus progress awarded for Vex defeated in Seasonal activities.
Defeat 150 Vex using any weapons from Season of Defiance.Defeating Vex inthe Vexcalibur missionwill grant additional progress. We recommend using Prodigal Return, Raconteur, or Perpetualis while farming the first encounter in the Vexcalibur mission. Tons of Vex enemies spawn in the first encounter, allowing you to hit the kill requirement in a few minutes.
Rewards
This challenge is retroactive.
The Crucible ornament for Ecliptic Distaffis unlocked byresetting your Valor rank and reaching Rank 16 with Lord Shaxx.Beyond double Valor weeks, your fastest way of increasing your Valor is to farm Rumble or any fast-paced rotating playlists. Some notable game types are Mayhem, Momentum Control, Team Scorched, and Iron Banner while Eruption is active.
Elegant Weaponry
Elegant Weaponry:Defeat combatants in Vanguard playlists or strikes while using a Sword, Bow, or Glaive.
Elegant Weaponry requires you toland 100 final blows in Vanguard Ops with a Sword, Bow, or Glaive.We highly recommend using a Glaivefor Vanguard Ops, as each melee kill with a Glaive counts as a weapon kill. Bows are also a solid option if you’re farming Nightfalls, although higher-difficulty Nightfalls donotgrant bonus progress.
Absolutely Stunning:Stun Champions.
Stun 50 Championsto finish this challenge. All Champion types count for this, and all activities with Champions will grant progress. Stunning the same Champion multiple times also grants progress. One easy way to complete this is through Legend Lost Sectors. Use a Stasis subclass or any weapon (preferably Riptide) with Chill Clip to freeze Champions. This stuns Overloads and Unstoppables outright. If your Chill Clip weapon has access to Solar’s Radiant buff, it can also pierce Barrier Champion shields, giving you a weapon that can counter all Champion types at once.
