Destiny 2’sSeason of Defiance continues into its fifth week, releasing eight new Seasonal Challenges for Guardians to tackle. Most of these challenges encourage you to play higher-difficulty content, participate in all ritual playlists, and get your hands on this season’s ritual weapon. So long as you’ve been leveling, these challenges should be fairly easy.

Some of this week’s challenges include playing weekly Lightfall campaign missions, farming bosses in Vanguard Ops, defeating Guardians in PvP, and completing Legend difficulty Defiant Battlegrounds. This guide will cover all eight challenges added this week, the rewards you can expect, and provide tips on how to complete them as quickly as possible.
Still Standing:Complete Week 5 of the “We Stand Unbroken” quest.
Reward
The fifth week of Season of Defiance has furthered the “We Stand Unbroken” seasonal quest.If you haven’t started it yet, complete theFirst Contact Lightfall campaign missionand use the holoprojector on Neomuna. Complete the listed quest objectives until the challenge is complete.
Legendary Liberator:Complete a Defiant Battleground on Legend difficulty.
Legend difficulty is now available for Defiant Battlegrounds, accessed from the Legend Defiant Battleground playlist at the H.E.L.M.You only need to complete one Legend Battleground to complete this challenge, regardless of how many Champions you kill.
Legend Battlegrounds limit your Power Level, locks your loadout, adds additional shields to enemies, and includes damage modifiers through threats and surges. Matchmaking is also disabled for this playlist.

Favored Warrior
Favored Warrior:Earn Favors of Justice, Grace, and Zeal during Season of Defiance activities. Bonus progress awarded for Favors earned during activities on Legend difficulty.
Earn ten of each Favor to finish this challenge.Favors are unlocked from theWar Table at the H.E.L.M.You can spawn Favors in Defiant Battlegrounds and the Avalon Exotic mission. Grabbing Favors that your allies spawn will also contribute towards this challenge.
As for creating Favors, we highly recommend using a Machine Gun, Trace Rifle, and an ability-centric build to spawn all three Favor types with reasonable consistency. If spawn rates still seem low, equip Season of Defiance armor to increase Favor spawn rates.

Friendly Neighborhood Guardian
Friendly Neighborhood Guardian:Complete a weekly mission from Lightfall on Hero difficulty or higher.
After completing the Lightfall campaign, visit the Neomuna map to find a weekly campaign playlist.Complete this weekly mission on any difficulty (Hero, Legend, or Master) to finish this Seasonal Challenge.Matchmaking is disabled for all three difficulty variants, so we recommend completing this on Hero if you’re attempting this solo.
Unraveling The Sun
Unraveling the Sun:Defeat Guardians in the Crucible. Bonus progress is granted for opponents defeated with Strand, Solar, and Void ability final blows.
Rewards
Unraveling the Sun requires you todefeat 50 Guardians in any Crucible game type.This includes Control, Rumble, the rotating playlist, Trials of Osiris, and Iron Banner when it’s active. Private matches donotcount. Landing Strand, Solar, or Void ability kills will count as multiple kills, although we recommend you focus on getting kills with any loadout you’re comfortable with.
Currently, most players aregravitating toward SMGsandPulse Rifles. Some good picks include No Time to Explain, Tarrabah, The Immortal, and Autumn Wind.
Dredgin' Up Victory:Complete Gambit matches. Earn bonus progress for wins.
Dredgin' Up Victory hasn’t seen any changes this season. This challenge requires you tocomplete eight Gambit matches, wins granting additional progress.Gambit matches only take a few minutes to complete, so this challenge shouldn’t take much time to finish.
If you’re looking to win these Gambit matches, we highly recommend curating a loadout centered around invading. Weapons like Xenophage, Eyes of Tomorrow, and Leviathan’s Breath are fantastic for killing enemy Guardians and damaging the Primeval.

Adversaries Of Humanity
Adversaries of Humanity:Defeat Taken and Vex bosses in Vanguard playlists or strikes.
Defeat five Taken bosses and five Vex bosses in Vanguard Ops or Nightfalls to finish this challenge.Some good strikes include Hypernet Current, Lake of Shadows, and The Glassway.
This challenge is retroactive.
Ecliptic Distaff is obtained by reaching Rank 16 with any ritual vendor—Commander Zavala, Lord Shaxx, and the Drifter. You increase your rank with each vendor by playing their respective activity.
