Each character has their ownvillain deck, fate deck, player board, game piece, and character objectives. There’s also an individual game guide, tailored to that character. You’ll haveallies, items, and effects to use against your opponents, with many cards being specific to each villain’s movie.

Thesuggested age is accurate, since each character plays a little differently, so it can take longer to master them. If you want to swap out you’ll need tolearn some extra game quirksto get the best out of each villain. The basics aren’t too difficult to grasp, but it’s the character specific parts which make this so enjoyable, while adding to the complexity.
