Metal: Hellsingerfeatures one of the mostamazing heavy metal soundtracks in video games. As you go through the various levels of hell and face off against its spawn, you must slash and shoot your way to an epic score that rewards timing with destructive power.

This uniquely hellish adventure should appeal to you if you enjoyed Shadow Warrior 3’s hectic gameplay that calls for plenty of jumping, dashing, and switching between stylish melee and guns.

7Shadow Warrior 2

It may seem like a copout to mention a predecessor when listing games to try after you finish Shadow Warrior 3, but plenty of players were introduced to the series with the latest entry and have yet to try the titles that came before.

While the third installment obviously has improved graphics, the second game is definitely worth diving into because it offers an arguably more robust experience. It has everything you like about 3 while adding more maps, varied enemy spawn, moves, and loot.

6DmC: Devil May Cry

While not being in first person and known for being an ill-received deviation from the series it has been booted from,DmC: Devil May Cryis an entertaining hack-and-slash adventure that carries the same rapid gameplay, stylish kills, engaging moves, and adrenaline-pumping music that you may have liked from your time with the Wang.

This cyberpunk journey can be very challenging, but it’s totally worth every second. Plus, there are tons of collectible skins that add to the experience if you love findingamazing swords in games.

4Painkiller Hell & Damnation

Painkiller Hell & Damnation is one of those success stories that prove how some reboots are actually worth making. If you like the gore, waves of enemies, and the music of Shadow Warrior 3, you’ll settle in nicely wearing Daniel Garner’s shoes.

There are tons of weapons that you can flip through to match your own brand of chaos and there are even more demons waiting for you to rain bullets. The campaign can be taken on solo, but there are also multiplayer modes that can be done PvE or PvP.

3Borderlands 3

If there ever was a game that begged you to run and gun as you fight off relentless enemies, it’sBorderlands 3. You can choose from one of four different types of Vault Hunters with their own special abilities and skill trees that you can upgrade. The open world is fascinating to explore and there are countless quests to dive into.

You can play this game solo or with up to three other players. Either way, it’s a lot of fun collecting different guns and bombs as you discover new planets. Quippy lines are included regardless of who you choose.

2Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition

With a name like Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, you know this isn’t the game for the fainthearted. Get the farthest from chill as possible as you try to use the most creative methods of dispatching your enemies. This game has many environmental hazards you’re able to weaponize against the slew of bullet sponges coming at you.

If you already miss Lo Wang’s bad jokes and one-liner attempts, then you’ll be glad to know that this game is full of comedic dialogue that has a truly cheesy center. You’re not getting Oscar-winning scripts here, but you are getting extremely satisfying combat.

At this point,Doom Eternalhas become the definitive ‘FPS that lets you mow downhordes of enemies’. There’s really no getting around it. If you like the gameplay of Shadow Warrior 3 and want more, this is the inevitable and logical endgame.

You can even play it on Nightmare difficulty to punish yourself, just because. This game carries the adrenaline that the olderDoomgames had and nicely modernizes it with flair. Plus, it’s got a banger soundtrack that will worm its way into your brain with ease.
