Fast FPS action with a stealth element is a good way to describeDeceive Inc. However, this is barely scratching the surface of what the game has in store for you and anyone who joins. The goal is simple: Infiltrate a facility, hack all the mainframe terminals, steal the package, and escape.

Okay, maybe “simple” isn’t the best word, but it looks nice written down. You need to use cover, movements, and quick navigation to accomplish your goal - and hopefully with minimal bloodshed. There are many agents, areas, and gadgets to get used to, but it’s smart to start somewhere.
Do Practice Runs
It’s normal that once you finish the tutorial, you’ll learn the rest just from playing the game. However, Deceive Inc. is complex to the degree that this may not be enough. It would actually be worth your timeto run through training for different characters and classes to get a feel for each one and their gameplay.
This is helpful, but the real practice is for the maps. They’re more expansive than they look, sospend some time doing practice and solo runs in the different maps to get a feel for their layouts and the quickest routesto cover the most ground.

Watch For Mismatched NPCs
The cover mechanic is one of the defining features of this game, and for good reason. Each match starts with you at a random point in a random disguise.NPCs move randomly and will occasionally mimic player behavior like lingering in front of points of interest.
As a result, it can be very difficult to discern disguised players from NPCs without noticing radical behavior. There is one thing to watch out for which is common in speed or impatient players.Observe color-coded areas and look for any NPCs that don’t fit.

Gather And Splurge Intel Early On
Your character starts with only base stats which can be boosted by collecting loot throughout the various maps. The issue is that loot is typically found in secured rooms and locked safes scattered around. To unlock them, you need to collect intel from hacking mobile devices, computers, and terminals.
This means it’s worthwhile to spend the first few minutes gathering as much intel as possible,so that you can collect as many upgrades to be powered up for the mid and late-game. It will also help you unlock doors that can net you keycards to save you time and intel.

Even after running through all the maps, it’s easy to get turned around - especially when under pressure or being attacked. The layouts can have a lot of twists and turns, with many areas looking similar to others. You can use the objective viewer to help orient yourself or even lay out paths.
However, if you want to keep your screen clean for combat and clarity, observe your surroundings.Specifically, look for signs that indicate stairs, pathways, special rooms, and more so that you can at least find your way forwardand to different levels.

Sharpen Your FPS Skills
Deceive Inc. has a style similar to Fortnite, and the fast-paced gameplay to keep up with it. Despite this, the spies are limited in terms of gear and weapons as well as being quite fragile. Not only do you have to worry about other players hunting you down, but guard NPCs can also whittle away your health, as ineffectual as they may seem.
Without upgrades for added protection, your health can hit zero in a matter of seconds. To prepare for this, hone the FPS basics of jump-crouching, firing in bursts, and always keeping your target in sight. If you feel overwhelmed, duck behind objects, turn corners, jump to lower levels, and use every bit of downtime to get your cover back.

Avoid Open Spaces
When it comes to spy games, it’s all about blending in.This setup provides a lot of objects, tricky map layouts, and plenty of NPCs to mix in with to stay undetected. Ideally, you’ll want to reach terminals and other points of interest fast so that you’re able to unlock the vault quickly, but this isn’t always wise.
Not only are running NPCs very suspect, but this will have you moving across huge open rooms, which will make you a moving target. In every part of the mission, always stay close to walls, near objects, or around NPCs to stay hidden and have greater protection.
