In the game, you encounter an abandoned hotel whose emptiness and dilapidation are fear-inducing.

​Each time you enter a new room, you’ll anxiously await its surprise. While the graphics are a bit dated, Lost Soul’s visuals are still mostly strong, and its sound is still sharp. This is one of the most nightmarish hotels ever depicted in a video game.

The game continues to improve due to its ability to successfully build tension and draw you into the plot. While you might not have heard of Maid of Sker, this is one of the best gothic horror games.
